I received a call from this number and I did not pick up. They left a message asking me to call back at 1800-277-4542 regarding my Verizon account. I then received a text message saying I should call 1800-267-4016 regarding my account. I called Verizon at 1800-922-0204 and asked them if the numbers were legit. Verizon said that those numbers to do not belong to Verizon and do not know who is sending the messages. They said that there was no reason why they would need to call me regarding my account since it was fine and to disregard the calls.

Same exact story.

They called twice 15 min apart but did not leave a message and called again the next day

Called me at 900am on Saturday saying to call Verizon customer service, which is odd because I'm not the account holder for the account. All they did was leave a Voicemail telling me to call Verizon custoemr care.

Same thing with me...I just got the same call and googled the number and found these messages! I have not called the number yet-but from is written here it sounds like it is not valid. I guess the question is who are they and how did they get our numbers?

On June 6th at 2:18 pm I received a call from this number.  Then at 2:33 pm I received another call.  I did not answer as I did not recognize this number and I don't answer numbers I am not familar with or expecting. They did not leave a message so I have no other information.  I have not received anything from them today.

I believe its a Verizon Wireless number, not a Verizon number: Verizon doesn't track the numbers Verizon Wireless has.

I received the call, when I answered no one responded back, no messages left.

Noone on the other end, although I do have a Verizon Wireless account. Could easily be Verizon, but as their customer service is so atrocious, it could have been a mistake on their part.

Just got the call from this #: 949-286-3311.  They did leave a "recorded" message saying to call 1-800-277-4542 regarding my wireless account.  They did not say who they were or why they were calling.  Frustrating to be interrupted at work with a call like this!

Just received two calls from 949-286-3311, one at 9:51 am and the next at 10:07 am.  They did not leave a message.  I had just made a phone payment that was approved and also received the customary "Thank You" text from Verizon Wireless around 9:20 am.  Weird!  (I don't answer calls from unknown callers either).  I googled the number and here I am posting this message.

It's from Verizon.  If you are late on your bill (even by a day or two), they will call you.

As I am typing, this will be the fifth time this number has called my phone within the last 30 minutes and they never leave a message. If it is that important to call back-to-back that many times, then it should be that important to leave a message!

I don't know this person/company.  I don't want them calling.

I got a call from this number also and did not answer.  They were calling concerning problems with my account or something.  I did not call verizon yet.

I have was late on my last bill due to a glitch in the payment system.  Collections?
