Got a call, no message left

Got 3 calls. Phone disconnected. Message a failing number. Never answered call and no message left.

Called Once.. 2/4/14...  No VM left.

Typical no response from the caller.  It's time for the phone companies to block all unused numbers until they are reissued.  This is on them!

Comes over caller id as "cell phone".
It's a roofing company.  The caller was extremely obnoxious and trying to come across as funny but it just pi ss ed me off.  

An obvious fraud, claims he talked to us about 1 year ago and we told him to call back in March (no we didn't.) Offered to do around the house maintenance work. Was very pushy and insistent that he wanted to come over right away to give us a quote. Had to repeatedly tell him that we're not interested. Obvious fraud/theft attempt, trying to find out if and when we are home.

Caller asked me if I was Ms. X, and then hung up. Number comes up under caller I'd as Cell Phone. I then called the number back and a message machine came on with a Fake disconnected number recording! Scammer/Thief calling to find out if anyone is at home!

No one on line when I answered. Number now blocked.

Same jerks from some telemarketing boiler room.  If they aren't peddling credit card services they're selling carpet cleaning, plumbing or remodeling.  Half the time they are never on the phone.

A low-life to the say the least. Called twice then hung up.

Have received over 20 phone calls from this telemarketer. He stated that he talked to my husband about 6 months prior and was told to call back as we were going to do some home improvement projects. My husband never talked to him and never told him to call back.
He is extremely rude!!! I have told him numerous times to stop calling us and to take our number off of his list. His response was, I'll throw your number in the trash, how about that and then hung up. And then he still keeps calling. When I answer the phone, he hangs up now. I check my phone call log daily and see that he calls several times per week. Just in the past week he's called 5 times. My husband has spoke to him 3 of the 5 times and has told him that we definitely would not be doing any business with him and that he to stop calling us. The last call he tried to tell my husband that it must have been the other person that called. My husband told him, no it was you and the guy hung up.
When you try to call the number back, it says it's no longer in service. The Service Provider is:  The Telephone Connection Of Los Angeles, Inc.  
How can I block this number?

Very rude and obnoxious man.  Says my husband told him we want work done on our house.  He calls 2-3 times a week.  When I call the number back, it is a disconnected number.

This guy has called my elderly grandpa trying to convince him that they scheduled an appointment for him to come out and make "necessary repairs" to the house. Complete BS! This company is nothing more than a bunch of liars, cheats and thieves.

You can block this number and as many as you like if you have an internet phone service. I tried their service (phone.com) and I am here to tell you that it is great. Also it is quite reasonable and the way I found it was my service  (Broadband) went bankrupt and ATT charged me to much in early use and my HOA gave me a list of company's that I could check out.

We have received calls from this # on 6-11-14/10:57 am, 6-15-14/11:21 am, 6-19-14/10:41 am, 6-25-14/11:32 am and 6-30-14/10:10 am.  The caller states we spoke with them recently about wanting home improvements done to our house.  We don't recall ever calling the number, although we have had work done to our house recently and called other contractors.  Each time, we politely state we are not interested and to please take our # off their call list.  Reading other comments makes us believe they are scammers.

FRAUD CALL.  When I answered and asked what the call was in reference to, the person told me that [name in our household] owes him money.  When I asked, "What company do you work for?" the (older) male caller hung up.  Background noise was of a call center.  

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

These people actually showed up at my door!!!!! The guy said he had a friend in the same complex and he "just dropped by" ...what an idiot! Next time they show up I'm calling the POLICE as this has crossed a line and is now direct harassment! Tired of these idiots constantly disturbing me!
