Called landline phone when no one was home. Didn't leave message. The area code is now blocked.

Just received a call and it is a phishing scam. A recording told me that my "credit card" was eligible for a lower rate, but that I had to act now. They did not know my name, what brand of credit card or what bank. This was just a generic call that, to me, screamed phishing scam.

Phishing number from 'credit card services'.. it is 10th or 11th phone number which I add to block list. Looks like they change the numbers after short period of time...

Got a call which I didn't answer. The call from this number came about 20 minutes after another call from Florida which I also didnt answer.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers. Under NO circumstances give your credit card number to these lowlifes, or you will regret it forever!

After receiving the call on my cell phone which only a limited amount of people know my number, I went ahead and pressed what ever number.  The woman with an Indian (from India) accent promptly answered and was reading some script. I tried getting info from her like her phone number and name of the company. She would not give me the phone number and insisted the company name was Credit Card Services.

Credit Card Services is a generic name that many scammers use.  It's like a grocery store called "Supermarket".

Recorded call req contact to lower credit card interest rates. I hung up. Caller ID read "Orange County Area."

Got a call from this number.  They left no message.  When I called back, I got a busy signal.  When I googled the number, I found this site.  Scary!! I wonder how they got my number....  Most definitely a scam.

949-376-3913  My guess is that this is Mr. Berryhill.s stolen phone number they are hiding behind so they cannot be traced.  Our phone number was stolen and used like this a few years ago and I received many mad and distraught phone calls later that afternoon.  I talked to them all and told them how to fix it by cancelling their cards immediately.

I recieved a call from this number, I would like to have it blocked off my acct.
