- Whatthehell?| 1 replySomething about a property in my city... I don't and never have owned a property in this city! They said that they've tried to call me several times (first time I've gotten the call!) and gave me 24 hours to call their legal department back and that the phone call was the final notice. They even called my cellphone number too. I have no idea how these people got my phone numbers! And I don't own a house, and I have never been able to because of my health!
- Caller: Couldn't understand the name
- aclintx replies to Whatthehell?Just got almost the same message. Said they have tried to contact me several times. This is the first I have ever heard from them. Used exact same lines- only gave me a claim number to call their Legal Dept back with. I just purchased a brand new home about a two months ago- but have never owned a property prior to this.
- KhalThey did the same with me. But they have a wrong name of mine. When I called back, the guy answered tried his best to know my exact name. I think they are spam. They said they are Chelsea Associate Firm.
- DeniseSame here, they call inquiring about your property then say you have a unpaid credit card bill and attempt to collect or say they are going to take action against you. I told them to go ahead cause I know all my accounts are up to date and that I had no idea what they were talking about and I would look into if it and to stop calling me. They then continued to threaten me with legal action and I told them go ahead, I think they knew that I knew they were full of it and then they tried to over talk me and hurry off of the phone. Big scam. So beware!!!
- Caller: Chelsea Associate Firm.
- KellieThis is a shameless debt collector who tries to scare you into paying a debt that in my case is more than 15 years old and belonged to my ex.
They have called twice and sent a letter. They make it sound like they will take you to court, put a lien on your real property and personal property, levy your bank account and safe deposit box, and garnish your wages along with your spouses wages and/or your domestic partner's wages.
I just laugh at them and tell them that the debt is no good. It is long past the statute of limitations.- Caller: Chelsea and Associates
