I agree with the others. They sounded legit at first, but I told the guy I wasn't interested and he got p!$$ed. They call me from different numbers about once a day now.

I've been getting multiple calls per day from these guys. Each time I tell them to stop calling and they lie and say they haven't called before. These folks lie through their teeth, even claiming they are physically located in California.

One of the forums on this number (and on 949-468-4084, also from the same call center) said that the number is associated with Level 3 Communications, LLC. I called Level 3's customer service and explained the situation. The guy looked up the numbers for me and told me it is a VOIP service provided by Net2Phone (owned by IDT). Net2Phone's customer service is closed for the day, so I sent them an email requesting they terminate this customer. If anyone else wishes to contact Net2Phone you can reach them at:

I think its good that multiple people complain. I threatened going to the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey if they do not handle this customer.

May be best to phone them because their comment submittal form had an error and couldn't submit my comment. What an adventure! I'll call them tomorrow.

The telemarketers have called me three times in one morning and keep calling back. Best thing to do is ignore the call.  

Yes, that is one of the acceptable options.

What options does one have to defend themselves against intrusive callers?

• The Do Not Call list (Federal or State)
Works, but is effective against ONLY "legitimate" telemarketers.  Political callers, surveys and some other callers are exempt.  Scammers ignore the DNC list.

• Nomorobo
A system offered by some telephone providers, to help automatically block robocalls.  Google "nomorobo" to see if it works with your phone provider.

• Shouting, screaming, swearing at the caller
Nope.  Does not stop calls.  May make you hoarse, and will disturb nearby people.

• Call blocker app, device or service
Could be a good choice (even though the scammers can use fake phone numbers), and some apps are free!
Google "call blocker" for more information, or check your favorite online sales site for a list.

Your phone provider may also offer blocking services.  Check their web page for information.

If you cannot use any of the above defenses, then:
• Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service

• If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

They keep calling and I keep ignoring them, I'm afraid they might do something terrible since they have your information thru your buss web. ( tel # , email, and buss address ) these people are annoying, they cant take that you are not interested to what ever they are offering to you and she kept talking while you're saying sorry I'm not interested, at one point I though I'm talking to a tape recorder because she did not even listening to what I'm saying and she kept asking me if my email is correct and my website she's reading is correct and continue spelling it ! %#$*&..
So I will tag or name all useless calls like this and name this phone number like " do not answer " etc. so when they call back you know it's them again.
