daily early am calls and when i return call no one answers and with no message

somebody with a slight accent who couldn't pronounce the name of this Health Center (only 4 letters - she asked "is this the *-*-*-* Center?")
Numerous calls a year from this joint, wanting to "update [their] records" of Physicians, etc.
Will not be giving out info to that place in California for this Midwest Agency.
Who are they anyway?

Someone called several times even after they were told not interested

Incoming call this morning.   Only rang twice, and I didn't answer.   No message left.    My telephone screen displayed "SK  A".

Calls... repeatedly without leaving message.
I don't answer and they keep calling.
So...  I blocked the number and they keep trying.
But they are blocked and I love that feeling!

Added them to my NUISANCE LIST of soliciting callers..whats even more funny.  I handle the calls for all 15 doctors here..so when that number shows up on my ID. I ignore and send them to the Fax Line.

Same experience as above. Maybe they're MD head hunters, but my spidey senses detect something more sinister... Tax collectors? Have you now, or ever, worked in The Bear Star State?

Actually it is a legitimate medical directory for continuing medical education providers. The reason why you are unable to reach anyone back is because it is an outbound call center, but they are not selling anything. If you listen to the caller, they do give the company name, SK&A, and since you have the internet, it is easy to look up the company and the main phone number where you can actually call, speak to someone and leave a message.

What you say is true. What you fail to say is that they ask you to verify their information so they can turn around and sell the information you provide for free, for hundreds of dollars. Look up their pricing on their website.

calling 10 times per day each day and refuses to leave message with management as front staff and billing staff have been advised to transfer their calls to managment. finally today, I was able to intervene and they attempt to say they are calling to verify provider information for CMS.  This information is not correct. CMS does not use a contracted service to verify as we must register through PECOS.  i confronted the caller and told her any information she wanted must be put in writing and faxed to me so we shall see what happens from this point.  Very aggraviating throughout the day each day with these multiple calls from this number refusing to leave a message of any sort. As soon as they are transferred to management, they end the call.

I got a call yesterday asking to update practice info from SK A (per caller id).  I told them there was nothing to update that everything is the same.  She then asked if she could get updated info on practice, again. I told her (again) there is nothing to update. Today I got another call from them asking to update info and I told the lady that I spoke with someone yesterday.  They called again asking for our practice info about an hour later.  I asked to speak with a supervisor and she hung up on me.  No answer when trying to call this "business" and no voicemail. If it's such a legitimate company, why hang up when asking for a supervisor?  The next call or hang up I get from them, will be reported to our phone provider.

When I asked to be placed on the do-not-call list, the guy became abusive, and insulted me. I agree with the above person who said this is scam; they sell your information, NOT a legitimate business

Trying to get names and numbers of doctors to sell them to head hunters, marketers, etc. Tell them you're an undertaker or a doctor of religion or something they won't want to sell to. She used some vaguely threatening pitch about a legal need to be up to date with record keeping. Total baloney.

a lady calls our # 4 and 5 times a day!! We have asked her everytime to take our # off of her calling list!! She just called @1230pm 8/22/13.

This number keeps calling my place of employment. They ask for me and when told I'm not there will not leave a message. I call the # and it just rings and rings, no idea who is calling me how they got my work # but they need to stop calling my work.
