Robo call threatening that I have to update my Google Maps account or my business information will not be available online after this Friday

Same call as for jlv..."update google maps account, or your information will not be available after this Friday." Sounds fishy...

Got a call from this number again on my business line today.  I answered with a generic "hello" and the guy cleared his throat for 3 seconds.  I said "Wow." and hung up on him.

I know answering the call tells them that this is an active line... but so does letting it go to voicemail (which identifies my business anyway).  It's one of those days where I just felt like messing with idiots that call.

We receive 2 to 3 calls each and every week.  The caller states that our Google listing will be unavailable on Google at the end of the month unless we call 949-478-6817 and speak with a technology professional.  A Google search (smile) indicates this is telemarketing.  These calls are unwanted!  Thank you, Jennifer Turner - Office Manager Back to Health Chiropractic

BEWARE THIS IS AN CRIMINAL OPERATION RUN BY VERY SKILLED CON ARTISTS. These idiots have called me like 70 times in the last few months. I own several businesses and every one has received multiple robo calls (which are illegal and have been for years now) pitching their SEO services. Basically they want $1500 a year for $200 a month to put you on goggle business, which is free and easy to do. They make false claims about being able to guarantee you a first page listing in 90 days or you can cancel. Well at that point you have paid them the $1500 or $600 in monthly fees.


The company is called BRAND REP, goggle them and see for your self they are a scam organization. The maybe contacted at 800-405-7119

Please goggle reporting goggle certified partners to goggle for the form to complain to goggle. Time to shut these thieves down.

This number called claiming to be Google and told me our business listing would no longer be viewable unless I called back tech support. Upon returning their call and confirming that that they were in fact, Google, hung up on me. I really hope others don't pay these people any money and seriously think they are talking with Google!

Some recording wanting to speak to the business owner because if our website is not correctly positioned on Google the mobile apps won't find us.   Oh Well!  We're doing fine without Google, and we don't have a website!

Do some research before you waste business owner's time.
