Called and asked about my VISA card

Calls everyday but never leaves a message.

Calls everyday at least 3x a day, but never leaves a message.

Started receiving calls TODAY, three calls so far, one hour apart but no messages.

Called it back, only say "You have reached the marketing department" and then asks you leave a message with your address and name/number... HELL NO!

asked for marge carter calling about credit card they had the last 4 number of visa and said they were calling from key benefits.  I asked what company and they said they could not tell me.  I called back to see if I could find out and it says it is the marketing dept. please leave you name phone number and address , but I did tell them to remove my name.  I never want to recieve another call about a credit card.  who do they think they are.

received a call on July 27,2007 at 5:52 p.m. central. called the number back, and said voice mail is full.
I live in TN and I recogize the 949 area code is Orange County, California, because that is where my sister lives who I talk to all the time.
BEWARE of 949-681-8208. Do not answer if this # is on the caller ID.

Saturday July 28,2007 I received a call from 949-681-8208.
She said she had obtained my company name _______ and my last 3 digits
of my credit card from a "joint  marketing partner...maybe from something
I had purchased on an informercial."
I asked her does Key Benefits have a website?
She gave me www.EliteSave.com
which appears to be a marketing firm.
I asked her to remove us from her calling list.
WARNING:
I know how my company name and last 4 digits got out there....
We ordered some KEVIN TRUDEAU books from his informercial late on the phone one night....and ever since then, we have been receiving calls from
marketing companies stating they have the last 4 digits of our credit card # and they always ask for our company name when they call.
I am reporting Kevin Trudeau to the U.S. Attorney General, and to any other
appropriate Attorney Generals for releasing sensitive credit card information to marketing firms.
This should be against the law one would think.

I looked up this phone number on Google, because I too started receiving calls 2-3 times a day. I had JUST read your posting when the called again. The lady asked me about taking advantage of an offer made to people that had been loyal owners of Visa cards...I just recently bought the Kevin Trdeau books.

Can we start a Class Action suit???

I just looked up this number on google. They called my cell phone numerous times. The first couple times I did not answer, then finally I did answer. They said I was entitled to a promotion with my visa card ending in XXXX. That is my bank debit card I told them! Why are you offering me anything on my bank card. They hung up. This was about a month ago and they just called me again. I did not answer. BEWARE of these people!

just missed a call from the number on my cell phone and i called it back on my work phone and it was a voicemail box with two teenage boys that said "you just got f*cking owned"

apparently they are too lame to come up with their own saying and just replaced a few words in ashton kutcher's catch phrase

My husband spoke to them and they had ALL our information, home, credit card everything.. not sure what to do about this...

We called VISA there is no affiliation with this company, even still, EliteSave.com claims to be affiliated with Visa.

I also ordered books from Kevin Trudeau.  Then I too received a call from 949-681-8208 while I was out today.  Upon calling this number back, I got the same "you just got f****g owned" greeting.  Interesting that I could not find "EMPTY HOLDINGS LLC" listed in the Florida Department of State website, though that is the registered company for EliteSave.com on http://whois.domaintools.com/elitesave.com 

EliteSave.com is shown in the FL Sec. of State site as owned by:

Name of owner on the registration for Key Club Save, LLC is Randy Swat.

Note that Key Club Save, LLC and Empty Holdings, LLC have the same address.  Simple switch of names in April 2007, with GoDaddy.com not being informed?  Furthermore, I find no records for any of these supposed entities to be licensed or allowing them to operate & maintain a business in California -- where the phone number came from.  

BTW:  I just learned that Kevin Trudeau spent a couple of years in jail for credit card fraud in the early 90's.  Below is an excerpt from Wikipedia:

"In 1990, Trudeau posed as a doctor in order to deposit $80,000 in false checks, and in 1991 he pled guilty to larceny after he had provided false information to obtain credit cards which he used for his own purposes. He spent two years in prison because of this conviction (Choi, 2005)."

I'm not sure this is a coincidence, I'm going to have to research both Gary Trudeau and EliteSavings.com further.

I recieved a call From 949-681-8208 They ask me to verify the last four numbers of my master card, they ask for information , I was not willing to give.. We called the number back , the message said we were f***** owned. We called police and canceled cards and called credit bureas.

I keep getting the same call asking about a visa and I don't own one.  When I tried to call back I get an answering machine sith some sick message.

They have also been harrassing me...  I too live in TN.  Strange.  No issue, I just blocked them.  I have charter as a phone company... and THEY have Call Screening.  Let them go "play with" something else.

Got same call last week.  Gave no info.  Called credit card company.  Card had been tagged for a very small amount, company said they were testing the account, luckily we caught this the same day it was tagged.  canceled card.  put rest of cards on fraud monitor.  today, I was out, kid answered the phone.  they asked if he was an authorized signer.  enough said....  going to higher sourses now and hope all of you will do the same.  the higher level that is bombarded with this problem, the more likely it is that we can get these people in jail.

Empty Holdings agent is Kevin WEssel, Presidential svcs, 1217 Cape Coral Pkwy, #300 Cape Coral FL 33504.  Kevin Wessell is just an agent, though. All he does is register companies who want to keep secret for whatever reason I guess.

The Court found that Trudeau violated the permanent injunction when he misrepresented the contents of his book, “The Weight Loss Cure ‘They’ Don’t Want You to Know About,” in several infomercials. The permanent injunction banned Trudeau from using infomercials to sell any product, service, or program. The ban contained a narrow exemption for infomercials for books and other publications, but specifically required that Trudeau not misrepresent the content of the books. Judge Robert W. Gettelman ruled that Trudeau “...has misrepresented the contents of his book by stating in his infomercials that his diet protocol was ‘easy’ and that it allowed dieters to ‘eat whatever they want,’ and he has misled thousands of consumers.”

The 2004 permanent injunction settled the Federal Trade Commission’s charges that Trudeau had falsely claimed that his calcium product could cure cancer and other serious diseases, and that a purported analgesic called Biotape could permanently cure or relieve severe pain. The appropriate contempt remedy for violating the permanent injunction is still to be determined by the Court.

Company called my wife 2 or 3x a day for a week on her cell phone.  I finally answered and talked to woman.  Informed me that because I was a "rewards" member with my bank card, which I coincidentally am, that I was entitled to a new Key Rewards program membership package.  They had her cell phone # and my name, but never called me on my number?   Woman informed me that all I had to do was verify that they could charge my account $1.00 for shipping.  They already had my all my information- bank visa debit card.  I agreed to let them charge the $1.00 and only worry now how much this will cost me before it's over.  I'm usually pretty skeptical about this stuff but it all sounded legit as I am a member of the PNC Rewards program.  After I saw charges for the $1.00 not affiliated with PNC, I called my bank and asked them to put it on fraud alert.  

Since then I have received their package.  It offers (5) $10.00 gas vouchers if you mail a copy of your gas receipts to them, one per month.  It also offers a prescription discount membership program.    They give gas rebate voucher form address:

I went to the EliteSaveings website and requested to cancel per the t's and c's of the letter they sent me.  We will see.  Please advise if there is anything that I can do to get these crooks.
