Someone by the name of "Shaun" has been calling people in California claiming to be a RE/MAX agent.  He asks if you would be interested in selling your house.  This person IS NOT a RE/MAX agent and has no affiliation with the RE/MAX organization

I experienced the same this morning.

I just got one today on 9/22/10 at 3:10pm.  Didn't pick up.

The number shows up at an Unknown Caller.  Here is the voice mail transcription:

"Hi,  this  is  Shawn  with  RE/MAX.  We  were  showing  properties  for  sale  in  the  area  earlier.  I  just  needed  to  know  if  you  had  any  interest  in  selling  yours at  this  time.  I  do  have  people that are relocating  here  to  your  neighborhood  qualified  and  ready  to  buy  if there  is  an  interest  in  selling  even  in  the  near  future please  give  me  a  call  back  area  code  (949) 698-4038  just  give  us  a  short  message.  I'll  be  sure  to  get  back  to  you, (949) 698-4038. Thank  you."

Received the exact same msg 10/14/10 on my cell.
I'm calling back to complain.

I just received the same message on my office voicemail.

I want to know how he got my cell phone number. I also got a call from a Carnival Cruise ship line two weeks ago wonder if they are linked

Same here the number that shows up is 707-927-5315. This is illigal for a to have robo calls going out to people in this manner. Small claims court $1500 per incedent plus triple damages if knowingly doing so.

Same voice to so if he trys to tell you this isn't him then I would ask why is it the same exact voice?

5/29/2011. My caller ID showed 707 927 5314, which is registered to Stephanie Duhua in Napa, CA. The caller was a male saying he was a Remax agent, etc. and to call him back at 949 698 4038 a Newport Beach land line. I didn't call back either number.

Same caller to my work number and left exact message as above about Remax and selling houses.

I received the exact same message with a call back number of 949 698-4038.  This was clearly a robo-call, as I picked up the call and tried to interrupt the caller mid-message, but it was apparant that the in-bound call was pre-recorded.  The caller ID for the in-bound call is 707 927-5314.  I have reported both numbers to the FCC.

I tried calling the number back (949 698-4038) and a generic outbound message indicates that "The Magic Jack customer you are calling is not available"...  Maybe "Sean" is out of business?
