Called my house pretending to be calling from a Sheriff's Dept. Would not initially identify himself. Asked if anyone was home so he could serve papers on someone who never lived at my address. When I told him he could not serve papers to my address because said person didn't live at my address, he called me a [***]! Called me back two more times telling me, we are going to get him [***]. On the third call I asked if he thought he had the right to call someone and be disrespectful? He said yes he did because I was acting like a [***]. Avoid this jerk at any costs!

curious to know if anyone ever showed up at your home?

Hey, this has happened to my girlfreind also.  We tried to call the number back and they answer as Dominos Pizza in Orange County, CA.  We are going to call the local police there and let them know what is happening.  Same thing Sheriff's Department looking for an ex spouse.

Some guy called me and told me he was the sheriff's department and he was looking for some guy, asked if i knew him. and he said he'll come by my residents, look at my identification and write it down or something. Should i call back? I don't know what to do.
