Got a call looking for my dad, tell them to hold and they always hang up.
Really weird it happens a lot actually. All I know is caller ID says CTI

Caller listened for about 4 seconds then hung up.

Received a number of calls from this number. When I call back, it comes with a busy tone.

I received a few calls....when I answer, they hang up?  WTF?

Got a call from this number and 949.752.2871 yesterday - similar numbers so probably the same bottom-feeders. Best advise is to *not answer* EVER!!!...they are scavengers looking for warm bodies to either sell to, or collect from. If you owe money, I'm sure they will leave a message. If you don't, someone who does gave a false number (yours) and you are the lucky recipient of that prize. The price of living the modern world, folks.

The best thing you can do is **not answer unfamiliar numbers** out of curiosity...that's what they are hoping for.

They are CTI, a marketing group that has called numerous times claiming "13% to 20% PER MONTH" returns trading the S&P e-mini contract.  They need to be investigated.

A $10,000 contribution compounded monthly at that rate would be over $81 million in 5 years!

Same experience as others.  They hung up as soon as I answered and return calls to their number result in a busy signal.  I can't stand slimy marketing idiots like this.  Are they they afraid of a real job?

I recieved a call from this CTI place who refused to give out information about their business.  I would not tell them if my husband was home or not until they told me enough information.  I screen all calls that seem from places we do not already do business.  Most hang up right away this one I hung up on instead. If you can trust this blog then I guess I did the best possible choice.

it called in 9/15/2010 at 9:50 am no sound, no greeting... I have been call by change the last 2 digits
we have regiestered on "do not call " list, and I have filed complain almost every day, but it still call in.
Please help to stop it.

Various people representing themselves as CTI employees, promising ROI's that are unreal.  Have asked repeatedly to be taken off call list, always met with rude telemarketers who couldn't care less.  This company should be investigated and, at the very least, fined heavily for violating the "do not call" list.

Received call but no one was on the line.

I have recieved a phone call from 949-752-2836 about 1-2 times a month for the past 4 months. When I answer noone is there and when I call it back it rings indefinitely. extremely irritating

trying to get investors cant get them to stop calling.

I finally picked up the phone when CTI called me yesterday after weeks of ignoring them. They told me they were a leading technology company. I told them I was a stay-at-home mom and not interested in what they were selling. The lady then questioned me if I had an IRA and if it was making at least 8% a month. That was strange. I immediately told them to take me off their call list. Will see how many times they call again before I flip out on them.

"out of curiosity" - that is what has gotten me.  Now I just wonder, but I don't answer anymore.

I have this problem too.  I have yet to figure what they gain since there is no communication either way.  Perhaps they are just trying to punish me not buying their software.

In the last month have gotten about 2 calls a week from this # when answered, the line hangs up.
This is a very scummy form of line verification that takes up your time.
Today a perky babe finally spoke on the line, launching into a scripted sale of a stock trading system. I told her about the previous abusive hangups and asked her why she thought I would want to listen to her after the abusive calls.She couldn't answer the question so I hung up.
