Robo call for Veterans charity looking for donations. I do not have time to vet them so I suggest you ignore them too.

They dared to call me too.  They did leave a RECORDED message.  However, too late - by the time my CELL phone registered a message in its voicemail, I had just hit the submit button on my DNC list violation complaint.  [I was using my computer at the time and immediately opened a new window as their call came in.]  The message also had a DIFFERENT callback number than the caller ID (888-237-3555), and that is a sign of FRAUD.  Robocalls from charities are still DNC violations - must have a person, and this didn't.

Call from 9497772290 when you call it the number is not in service.! Ha Ha  Then they left a message to donate you car boat house to the vets full of sh..t. scammers. OK

Number called a few minutes ago.  I didn't answer, and they left no message.

This time they left a voice mail.  It is from Vehicles for Veterans.  VM asks for donations of cars, boats, real estate.  On the web at cars.vets, 888-237-3555.  Scam or worthy cause?  Who knows....

6/18/15 9:52 PDT  Once again, no ID.  Message on voice mail is recorded female voice telling us how to donate a car or other vehicle to "vehicles for veterans"    As far as I'm concerned, if they don't identify themselves as they are making the call, it is probably a scam.  Simply refuse to answer phone unless certain of who is calling.    Will try having this one blocked.  Will characterize as non-profit  for call type, but doubt it actually is.

Called at 9:35 Am 6/19/2015 to both my office and home phone at the same time! Robo calls. No messages just privacy violations. Tires of these unauthorized scamming calls that waste my time and attention.

We're still on the same robocall lists apparently!!  BUT - when this latest telepest called today at 10:01 am, No mo did block it.  Glad to see it blocks numbers after not too many days of pestering people!

Caller ID says "out of area".

How can you tell if No Mo has actually blocked a number?  That is the only thing I haven't been able to determine so far.

Interesting question - the only way I know is if I am home to hear the glorious sound of one ring then nothing.  If I am out, the numbers all still show up in my caller ID so in that case I have no idea.  Wish there was a way to tell if a number was blocked if I'm not home to determine.  It would be nice if the No Mo site had a list of all the numbers they are blocking.

Did not answer the 949 Area Code number with no identification but did listen to the message left which was a solicitation for Vehicles for Veterans  ... and other donations such as real estate. The return number left was 888-237-3555 - NOT the same as the robo CID that showed up.  The message also said to check them out at cars.vet ... Blocking!

Robo call from alleged charity group.  Blocked.

I got a robot call from some charity for veterans asking for vehicles and real estate for donation. Definitely a scammer, who donates real estate? A female voice left a message on my machine. The reverse trace for the 949 area code came up Irvine near Stone Creek N but another number came up 888-237-3555. This indicates a spoofed number or voip call. Another red flag, blocking and reporting is in order here.

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, but a message saying they were collecting for homeless veterans.  Nonsense.  If they are legitimate, why are they concealing their identity?  Another one for the chopping blocker...

6/29/15  I now have a partial answer to my question.  Recently Verizon FiOS Digital increased the list of numbers I can block from 10 to 100 and any number I have blocked will show as incoming on my call log but doesn't ring here at all.  I was a bit confused early today when I saw a number from last night that I knew hadn't rung here and when when I checked this AM found it on 800Notes as one I had recently blocked from my call log that I access on my TV.  I do wish they would tell us when they are doing this sort of thing, but won't complain about not being pestered any more by some of the more obnoxious callers.

949-777-2290, called on CallerID, left a VM with 888-237-3555 as call back number, Cars for Veteran  blah blah...You are being watched now, and under FBI surveillance.

Received a call on 03 July.  Left automated recorded message concerning donating cars and real estate for veterans.  CAD read "IRVINE CA".  Blocked number with Sentry.

no message was left now that I signed up for no more robo we don't have as many calls that we have to answer. Caller ID states Donate that car. I have never heard of this "charity"
