Claimed to be Google advertisement rep. Wanted $300 a month to list my business.

In my opinion 7:40 am is too early to be calling!

A caller made a phoney sales pitch telling me he represented Google but when I pressed him he acknowdged the fact that no, he was not representing Google at all. They are trying to sell Internet advertising using a lousy pitch, this is a salesman that knows zero of what he is talking about.

I may be wrong but I think he said that he is with Performance Media Placement something or other.

They search Google and call everyone that has a paid ad on Google down the right side of the page and then they call you and bother you. The jerk was just looking to take a credit card over the phone for some pie in the sky phoney promise of super duper advertising.

If they want to sell you something they should at least have someone call that knows something.

They claimed to be accepting referrals for funeral business but wouldn't give out any information about where they were calling from.

We did not follow up calling them back, as it was just a sketchy message.

Claimed he wanted to verify details about my Google Maps profile... Sounded a little shady
