Robo Call

Robocall stating they are Google and need to verify your Local Business Listing or it will be removed, scammers just trying to get your SEO business, stay away.

Caller I.D. shows "Unassigned". Um...no. Ignore list.

Unwanted caller saying  they were from Google and that our website was "glitchy."  Name was Roger.  Then he called back a few minutes later with the same speech.

Usually I never answer numbers that I don't recognize, but I was waiting for a tech support call and answered this one.

Same Google listing garbage as stated above - robo call message that started with the guy clearing his throat and saying "excuse me" before going into he recorded junk - probably to try to make the recording sound like it was a live person. Novel attempt, but still a scam - that if I didn't respond my Google account would be removed and to press 1 etc.

Like they really have anything at all to do with Google.................

Yes, they called and said we have to verify our Google Maps listing to have it continue to be posted at the end of the month. I called back and spoke to someone for a few seconds before I realized it was a scam. Beware of what you say to them. They will record you saying 'yes' to questions and then they will splice together a doctored recording saying that you approve them to bill you for a ridiculous amount of money. DO NOT TALK TO THEM!

I also received a message claiming if our business did not call back to the above number before the end of March, 2015 we would be blocked on Google Maps and people would not be able to find us using google maps. I did not call back. The caller ID was V30310033600041

Same throat clearing and it is now May of 2015.

This time I pressed one and I asked 'what company are you calling from.' Extremely rude and condesending man challenged me and ofcourse would not answer the question. He did however say type in google.com/partner. I told I am already a google partner with another company and I am going to be extremely offended if it is the same company Iam doing business with. I knew it was a scam when he asked me 'what company.' I said why would I tell you what company? You won't tell me the name of your company.....what a jerk..hung up n him.

Got an after-hours answering machine message from this number after hours. The caller, who did give his telephone number, never identified himself in any say, only that "I need the business owner to contact me about new business". First, he didn't know the name of the business owner. Strike one. Second, he didn't identify his company name, which is always a dead giveaway that the call is bogus. Strike two. Third, now I have his telephone number, so when it shows up on my caller ID, I will be prepared. Strike three, loser. :-)

Same as Cat.  Called my cell at 7:10 pm with the same message as above.  Nothing mentioned about Google, though.  Do these [***] really think they are going to get an actual business owner to call them back?  Get a f-in clue, d-bag!  Blocked!

Same as above, want to talk to owner about new business. I am actually so busy I can't handle more business. Blocked the number. They called after hours. If you google my phone number, you get my website and hours. I googled their number and got this page. /golf clap

Called when I was talking to a client- too many times my customers are interrupted by telemarketers bleeps and then the call goes to voicemail- more wasted time. Caller ID said V81915533500121, message said for owner to call immediately.

They called about 3:00p PST on 11 Oct 2016.  Now blocked.

There are apps that bring awareness to these individuals. Look them up.  Use the number you are complaining about, in your complaint.949 945-2138
