just got my first call from them. another scam??? didn't answer it.

Some company selling digital advertising reaching college campuses - they left a long message when I didn't answer.

Called our office. It showed up as V314130852. Nobody answered. Weird.

called us to ask if we wanted to advertise our business on college campuses, specifically their public access TV channel. We're a carpet company based in Florida, not too many students are going to be buying commerical carpeting, DUH!!!!

Get a call from this number several times a week, I answer and I hear nothing then it just hangs up.

Call shows up as Playmyad.com--- 949-988-2502. They hung up when I answered. ANNOYING JERKS!!!!!

Got the call more than once a week recently.  If you listen all the way through (minute or so), there is an option to hit #8 for them to no longer contact you anymore. Hopefully it works

Received call while I was away from the phone.  Didn't leave a message.  I have a pay-per-click program on yelp for my business, and I'm going to be pissed if I spent $3 so this solicitor could find my number.

My friend, be very careful with Yelp and paying for advertising. They are not as legit as one would think. I've received offers from companies who Yelp pays to write reviews. I'm not a real fan of Yelp, the only way they'll show good reviews is if the reviewer is a big Yelper and reviews alot. Otherwise, all Yelp wants to do is to get your advertising business - once you pay them they will show all good reviews, that's how they sell it - pay $300 a month and your negative reviews (from people who never used my services) 'disappear'.

I'm getting these hanger uppers too.

They just hung up.

"College fiance aid" is what they claimed to me.

Received a call from 949 9882502 they said they were from our local TV station.
They wanted to sell TV ads.
What a scam.
Called them. Asked them to stop calling.
Press 8 and take the number off the list.
Called the co. asked them to take me off their calling list. They were from Costa Mesa, CA. They were calling New Mexico.

Called my office phone in Buffalo, NY today...did not answer since I did not recognize name nor number and it went to voicemail. No message was left. Caller ID showed as PLAYMYAD.COM  A quick google search for playmyad told me what I needed to know so I will never answer these calls as they offer nothing of interest to me.

A total scam and an illegal telemarketing call.

Another jerky scammer. How do they get by with calling our cell phones? This makes me furious. Using up my cell phone minutes too! Disgusting. I'm sick of getting these scammers on my cell phone. It's getting worse all the time and needs to be stopped.

Scam telemarketer: "local location based advertising" featuring commercials for your business.
They say to call 1-800-880-1906 and use their service for as little as $55 a month.

I called back 949-988-2502. The automated message says "Thank you for calling local location based advertising" then gives the option to hold for a service representative (one never came on) or to press 9 to leave a message with your telephone number to be removed from their calling list.

Showed up on my caller ID as PLAYMYAD. I didn't answer it. Am reporting to the FTC.
