Go one ring - to my old 949 number (both So Cal) - I think it is spam/scam

just received notice of a missed call from 951-228-9449 my phone never rang - these types of calls are getting very annoying especially since number is registered with do not call and I don't give out my cell phone number.

Keep getting a call from this number even though I registered my phone with a no call status from solicitors and scammers.

Number called me (phone said it was from Murrieta, my home town) though it might be for work so I called back.
Automated answer said I had visited a website and was eligible for a $100 rewards card to walmart or something like that. Scan/Spam

Called my cell and hung up right after 2 rings.  Didn't answer.  Left no message.

Rang twice and hung up. I see it's a scammer so my new phone contact for this number reads HANG UP ITS AN [***].

Yet another number I don't know and don't answer.  On the do not call list but doesn't seem to matter..  Tired of unsolicited calls...

I keep get calls from various out of state numbers, 915-228-9449 is one of them..   The phone rings once then hangs up.

Got call on cell number despite being on do not call list - Called back to get tape recording saying that I had made a recent unidentified purchase front an unidentified merchant and that I qualified for $100.00 gift card to be used as various merchants in my area, including WalMart. Option to press #2 if I do not wish to participate and be called again.

I received the called this morning as well, just one ring and that's all.
I wonder how the got my number, because I don't go around posting this specific phone number on the internet or else.

Notice of missed call on my cell phone; however, my phone never rang.  Obviously, I canceled the call without listening to any message that might have been left.

One ring then nothing?  That's one heck of a telemarketer for you.  Wonder how their sales numbers are.  Don't ever call back on these numbers and reward their lazy method of making sales.
