solar sales. The second I answered the male caller hit me with his "non-sales" pitch about the solar company he was working for.

This caller represented himself as California Green Energy Center. When confronted, he gave a "corporate" phone number of 877-497-2919. This number belongs to Top Design Remodeling in Van Nuys, CA. I spoke to a "quality control" person who said they follow the Do Not Call List, but then could not explain why I was called when I'm on that list. I have filed a complaint with the FTC regarding this call and would suggest that anyone else who receives calls from either of these "companies" do the same if you're on the Do Not Call list. Filing complaints is likely the only way to shut these idiots down.

they call me everyday and several times a day.  I tell them  not interested and they still call.  I even lie and tell them I'm low income on welfare LOL  but it didn't work.  I tell them I'm not a home owner, didn't work.  I tell them they got wrong number, didn't work.  I ask for their call back number, they hang up on me.

The woman that called me today was pissed that I hung up on her so she called me back repeatedly and told me that if I hung up on her that she was just going to keep calling, and she did. The second I would hang up, she would call right back. I eventually took my phone off of the hook.

I then filed a complaint with the FTC. It doesn't take very long at all to do, just follow the prompts. Please report these harassers.

Hmm.  A1 Solar Power's main office is also located in Van Nuys.  I wonder if there could be some relationship between California Green Energy Center, Top Design Remodeling, and A1 Solar Power.

calls started 02/15 at 1:56p.  continued this 02/16 starting at 10a; 12:09p; 1:58p and i'm sure there are more to come.   Calls come in as wireless caller.    i let all calls go to my machine unless i know who is calling.   No messages left.

The problem is when you call the number back it says it is a Verizon number that has changed, disconnected or no longer in service. It is a scam! Don't give them any info.

They've now somehow obtained my cell phone number. This is straight up harassment.  I'm going to find out how to press charges.

I have been getting multiple calls/day and week from California Green Energy Center 951-233-6114. They never leave a message and obviously do not respect the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY which I have been on for years. I reported them to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx 

I hope anyone else being harassed by this company will do the same. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) website leads you directly to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY to file a complaint.

I've gotten call after call after call from these solar dirtbags, even though I've been on the (useless) Do Not Call list since before it even became active. I've never answered, but it has gotten really annoying, especially since they call multiple times per day. Consumer Reports finally had a solution that I love -- you may be able to stop this on at least one of your phone lines for free, via nomorobo. It uses your simultaneous ring feature, (if you don't have that feature, nomorobo won't work), to call their database. If their database detects that it's a robodialer, it immediately hangs up on them. That means if your phone only rings once, nomorobo probably blocked a spammer; if it rings more than once, you should probably answer it. Cool, huh?

I did a research on the number listed above 877-497-2919 and found it to be Top Design, as stated, I went on the page, did a contact us and issued a complaint with them and told them if they do not stop I would file a BBB compaint against them as they currently hold a A+ rating. Number calling us is 951-233-6114

They are still calling people.
I have taken similar necessary steps as others have to stop the calls.
The callers don't' seem to know that they are working for the remodeling company ultimately
and think that it's ok to call us. At least they claim that.  

California Green Energy is actually Top Design Inc--real phone number is 877-497-2919. I called them last month directly but didn't leave a message (just like they did to me several times). Guess what? Someone called me back from that number and I told them to remove me from their call list, that I am on the Do Not Call Registry and shouldn't have to ask them. I have also filed several complaints with the FTC. I finally called the Contractors State License Board using their License Number 966819 and filed a complaint online. They contacted them with my complaint--and I haven't received any more calls (fingers crossed!).
