number keeps calling me with no one on the other end to answer..Annoying!

They call asking for any name, Once we say there's no one here under that name, they start to ask personal questions, this is a bussines and I don't appreciate to put one of customers on hold to answer something like this.

Well, thanks for the info. I wasn't home at the time, but when I AM HOME, I don't answer the phone when it says "unknown name" . Why waste my precious time on these losers? they can call someone else and waste their time. If you don't want your time wasted, then don't answer your phone!

This number is persistent... they call almost every day, and if DO answer it, there is usually no one there.
ANY calls we get which mention "electric bill", "energy" or "solar" are immediately hung up on.

Yeah...it's a scam.  Once you reject them they put you on a list that freaking calls you from a bunch of different numbers.  Mostly 951 but I've had 760 and 714 area codes.  Even 310.  So if you don't know the number then don't answer.  I have a feeling they're going to hassle me until I get a new number.

I was just called by this number on my cell. I called them back at the same #,  951-242-1074, and was put on hold, and then an agent came on and went thru his spiel for solar panels...The name he gave of the company was "Counsel of Renewable Energy". After he was done, I asked if this was about solar panels and he said yes...then I said, I already HAVE solar panels on my roof, and could he please remove my # from their call lists. He was very polite and apologized and said he would, and that it would take 3 biz. days for my number to be eliminated from their system. We shall see.

This company is located in Van Nuys now. The reason people get calls with no one one the line is because they have an autodialer set up to work with their telemarketing room. A computer dials your number and one of their telemarketers connects with you. But their system sucks so badly that often they lose connectivity. No matter who they say they are from the actual telemarketing company is called New Energy Construction. They set up appointments for a company called Ground Up Builders. The owner is a crook and has changed the company name a couple of times already. They do crap work and then harass you into making full payments often before the work is even done.  They will call you over and over again. Only option is to tell them you are on the national do not call list and then when you are called again that you will report them. But that will really only work if they haven't changed company names to keep the owner Shalom Baraness from losing his ability to have a business
