Left the following FRAUDULENT message: "Hello my name is Michael Jones and I'm trying to reach a xxxxxxx in reference to a complaint that has been forwarded to my office. If you need to discuss the possible pending action being filed on this complaint. You'll need to call 888-490-4925 that's the issue and the just legal department. Case number xxxxxxxxxx. Thank you"

This is a classic scammer, attempting to collect on out-of-date (statute of limitations) debt. Vultures.  Pitiful of vagrants.  DON'T FALL FOR IT. THERE IS PLENTY OF INFORMATION OUT THERE, FREE, REGARDING THESE CROOKS.  DON'T ALLOW THEM TO ENGAGE YOU. BETTER YET, DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE PHONE NUMBER.  REMEMBER AS A CHILD, YOUR MOTHER TOLD YOU TO NEVER OPEN THE DOOR TO A STRANGER. THIS IS NO DIFFERENT.

This is the Corona Scam.

They use many names, but all are traceable to Corona, Lake Elsinore, or Fullerton mail dropts.  They are known for deceptive collection of fake "debt", often pulling credit reports to get information on your old accounts.  Then a fake "process server" will call relatives or employers, acting like you have been sued and they are trying to "serve you a summons", and often threatening arrest if you don't call back "in 3 hours".  Their goal is to embarass and panic you into paying some "debt" they never prove they have any right to collect, and which may not even exist.

Called for my under age son, I said screw off then she called me a dumb broad. At least I dont work telemarketing!!!

I've contacted the Attorney General's office of my State an the Federal Trade Commision on these bozo's.They advised me there all scam's. Sounds like a class action law suit is needed by all these post!!

They were just sued by FTC.  A TRO and asset freeze is in effect.
