Someone called speaking in Indian accent, unable to understand only heard "threatening 9 months prison" for something. What BS atthis time in my life!

They called me too. They tried to say they were from the State attorney's office and that someone is suing me. They even said I was going to be arrested if I didn't send them $2900 on a prepaid card.They had my ss #.  I'm filing a police report.

They have been calling my cell and work number saying they are the state attorneys office and very threatening. "We know this is you" on and on. How do I make these calls stop?

They keep calling leaving threatning messages and had personal information.  I am filing a police report.

They did that to me today! I just went through 8 months of cancer therapy. I do not deserve this!

they calle me today leaving me several messages and called my job threating that if i didnt give them $645 today they was coming to my job and having me arrested and serve 9 months in jail. very verbally abusive over the phone.

They keep calling my place of business and won't stop.

These people are scammers and criminals.  They break every provision of the FDCPA every time they open their filthy mouths.  Nobody is arrested for debt and it is illegal for them to threaten it.  Not sure if the police will be able to trace them since they're likely in a foreign boiler room, but you can certainly talk to the police and see what they recommend.

Has called every 5 minute all day. Left a voice mail stating he was from the Attorney General office and tah my SS# had several lawsuits pending. Been through this before!!!

If you have been through this before should I worry about him having my SS#? Will they do anything with it? Should I take action and change it or something?

I got a phone as well telling me I owe money and what do I want to do? And I said who are you? They said the state attorney general office and they sending the sheriff to my house and I'm going to jail for 9 months for fraud. I'm going to call 311 to find out who I have to speak to in regards to these frauds.

they called and threatend to put a bomb in my wifes [***]. their words. we have the FBI involved. THIS IS A SCAM!! said they are from state atty like everyone else. they may be dangerous. please contact the FBI if they call you

I received a call as well. The caller, Gary Housing stated the same as other postings. I will be arrested and spend 9 months in jail because charges were against me and he was reading from an affidavit and will send sheriff to my job and arrest me.
I will contact the FBI as suggested in the last posting.

Yea these guys don't give up! I originaly was taken out a loan online but figured out quick that it was a scam! And the reason why I say that is NO CERTIFIED LOAN company is gonna ask for money upfront to receive money and when a loan company says you're approved for a 1000$ or more then more than likely they want calatoroll of some kind a title to a car or deed to a house or somthin and as always they will want to verify employment and of course your income like a check stub or somthin . But this place said I was approved for like 2500$ and I'm like cool but all they wanted for verification was 200$ upfront?  I'm like what??? It kinda defeats the purpose of asking for money cause most of the time when u ask for a loan you don't have money. Right?  So yea they are scanners and sense I said no to there lying ass purpurposal I've been getting these threatening calls for my arrest and they somehow got my ss# but I had reported it to the FBI and contacted the federal trade commission and credit bureau to put a freeze on my credit so guess ill just wait and see what happens. IGNORE THESE [***]!  they are criminals trying to get money and probably more!

I applied for a loan last week and thank god I did not accept the terms.. I have been getting phone calls all week but today has been the worst.. This phone number called me 6 times saying that they were the california state attorney generals office and that i had a lawsuit against me.. he was extremely disrespectful and told me i was a stupid american and should die.. i cursed him out of course because i'm not an idiot and know its a scam.. he said he was going to send people to my home to arrest me and throw me on a bus.. lol.. Its upsetting because he has my social security number and my address..i called the local FBI and they gave me the website WWW.IC3.GOV to file a complaint.. good luck everyone..

THE GUY WHO CALL ME FROM THAT NO WITH INDIAN ACCENT THREATENING ME HE IS CALLING FROM STATE A. SOMEONE SHOULD TAKE ACTION AGAINST ATTORNEY OFFICE.SOME ONE GOING TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE GUYS HARASSING EVERY ONE.

CALLED MY CELL SAYING THEY ARE FROM THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND I WAS BEING SUED AND I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESSTED! AND  I NEEDED TO CALL ED MARSHALL AT 951-290-8161. THE CALLER CALLED FROM ANON. NUMBER,BUT WHEN I CALLED THE 951-290-8161, THE SAME MAN ANSWERED THE PHONE AND HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I TOLD HIM HE WAS THE SAME MAN I HAD JUST SPOKE WITH.
WELL TO GET EVEN, I AM NOW HARASSING HIM. I JUST SENT HIM A PICTURE OF MY BARE ASS!
