Got a call at 6:35 pm on Martin Luther King's birthday.  Caller ID read California Pal.  I didn't pick up; they didn't leave a message.

Got a call 1/19 at 5:12 pm. No message left. Caller ID said California Pal.

Caller ID: California Pal
7:39PM, no message

Answered they said they were Mike.  I told him to stop calling here.  This is after a week of these phone calls.  So far not calling.

Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "California Pal" which sounds like a scammer already. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Murrieta, California using a service provider of CELLCO Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless-CA. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers or using a viop system to phish for personal information while running some scam. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out the numbers to them too.

951-319-3624  Caller ID: CALIFORNIA PAL  Machine answered and male ID'd himself as Michael Clark and then hung up after no response.

This scam is spoofing a legitimate charity: California Police Activities League, located in San Leandro area code 510 near San Francisco, is an umbrella organization for over 100 PALs.  Area code 951 is in Southern California.   This Murrieta PAL would never call me in N. CA.

Didn't leave a message

They have called several times, when the machine picks up they hang up. No ID, just shows Murrieta CA. I assume it's some scam.
