CID showed CALIFORNIA. Left no message.

August 2, 2013, 3:20 PM...I just got a call from this number. The Caller ID display said "California" - same as the other post...

Not recognizing the number, of course I didn't answer - that's what I have Caller ID for...

The 951 area code is in the Riverside County area of Southern California. I don't know anyone livinng in that area code, and neither does my wife. But she told me she received a call from the same number several days ago - but the area code was 626. That's (626) is also in the Southern California area...

So what this would seemingly indicate is that this is likely a scam of some kind. And with the proliferation of telemarketing scams going on these days, it stands to reason this just that - a scam...

And these xxx-holes are using Caller ID spoofing - so who really knows if the calls are ~really~ coming from either the 951 or the 626 area code???

It's better to just not answer if you don't recognize the number or the caller...

There is no doubt to block them.

Missed/no msg interestingly, I forward home calls to my cell. On it, it came up as no caller ID. That seems to indicate a spoofed number.

Did not answer.  No message left.

I get so many calls from this number I'm recognizing it now as I would a private personal #.  I hate these stupid telemarketers.  It could be spoofed but my callerd ID gave this # 951-325-8746 and CALIFORNIA which usually indicates a CELL PHONE.  Do NOT trust calls from this phone #.  Ignore it.  Most of these calls I get are telemarket scammers calling regarding construction cause they just happen to be in my neighborhood...(I took a stupid telemarekting job when I was in my teens...I know what you are supposed to say....LIES!!!!) or it's carpet cleaning.  NEVER SAY YES to these jackwagons.

CRIMINAL TELESCAMMERS.  Riverside/Hemet area code prefix.

I found this interesting. I keep a record of all the nuisance calls I get, and search for them on my list whenever a new call comes in. Well, today I got a call from 951-325-8746. When I searched my list I found that I had previously gotten calls from the same 325-8746 number, but from the 805 area code and also the 818, Apparently they're using the same number, but from different area codes. Hmmmm....

This number left a voice-mail: "Hello? [long pause] Mr Parker?" Then just hungup

Same basic numbers that regularly call, they spoof a different area code.

A robocall from this Hemet / San Jacinto number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voicemail, the caller left no message.  Since I neither know nor do business with anyone there, I conclude this was likely an illegal telemarketer on the prowl.  According to some posters, this person calls from the same 7-digit number, but spoofs different area codes.  If true, this is one of the hallmarks of a scam artist -- someone to scrupulously avoid.

Recieved a call from this number from Hemet. Blocked and reported.

Anthony said he talked to me about 4 months ago and I was running out the door..... yeah right!!! And my other car is a Rolls Royce. Blocked forever!! Bye Anthony!!

Yet another invasion of privacy/ spoofed junk call.  Didn't answer (I never answer calls like this).  Blocked this number.

Caller id CALIFORNIA. Scam call, blocked another one.

Called twice in 1 minute on 9/27 - first time with Hemet CA caller ID then tried again with the number as the ID.

This was a no message on machine call from Hemet at 5:41 pm on Sept 29 2015.  If the call is that important to you and you wait for the answering machine to kick in, why not leave a message.  What are you afraid of?  That a callback doesn't work, because this is a scam perhaps?  Suck eggs loser.
