A person name Joe Brown reporting that he is from the law office of johnny best, claiming that I have a judgement filed against me due to a internet payday loan in which I do not owe or in default of. I have contacted the BBB and will file a complaint against this so called law firm. It is a scam

This Indian guy or Asian dude trying to harass me that they have a case against me who ever u are spend time on ur English class a.....hole....

Got a call from this number saying they were calling from a law office.  His name is Daniel and it is very important that I call him back or have my attorney call him immediately.  He claims he has a case against me and if I do not respond immediately bad things will happen to me.  Got the same call last week from the same accent that you can hardly understand from a different number.  They threatened me and said that I would be arrested yesterday.  They called me on my cell phone and I sent them a text telling them that I had contacted my attorney and law enforcement and have filed paperwork against them for harrassment.  Now they call me from another number.  Wow, and I am on the do not call list.  I do not owe anyone any money yet they want me to go to Walmart and wire them money.  They are very rude and harrassing too many people.  They need to be dealt a good blow from the law!

I have received a few calls now, saying that there was 3 lawsuits against me and my SS #.  They would say which law firm but accent was so heavy that I couldn't understand.  I just called back and a guy answered and identified themselves as Johnny Best Lawfirm in Los Angeles CA.  I told them to give it to the local authorities and they said they would come arrest me on Monday.  Do these people actually get those that believe them?  How do you stop the calls??

I have been receiving calls from this number all morning from a man with such a heavy accent I can barely understand him.  What I did understand was that I am being arrested on Monday at my place of employment for failing to pay back a payday loan.  However, if I immediately give him payment he will stop the arrest.  I was initially worried because he did have my personal information and the call started off sounding legitimate.  But as the call went on it became more obvious this is fraud.  I called my local police department and asked if they had a warrant  for my arrest, although they could not give me that information over the phone, they did assure me that they do not arrest people for $300, which is what this man wanted me to pay.  After giving all the details of this call to law enforcement I feel better that I am not being arrested, but I am nervous about the personal information this man has on me and what kind of damage he will do with it.  How do we stop this kind of thing happening?

These people called me and i havent received any money from a payday loan company.

I received calls back to back for almost a week from a man stating he was an atty. Adam spencer with the law firm of Sam scott regarding  a payday loan with Cash Advance USA.  stating that i needed to pay the 572.00 or they would have the police come to my job and arrest me--i asked him several times not to call me on my job and he would continue to call back to back.  He is rude and out of order did not want to take no for an answere.  would continue to ask for my fax number to my job, and told me that he was sending the police to my job with in forty five minuetes on one day he called.  the last time he called i told him i would have my atty call him and he has not called since.

I received a call stating that there was a lawsuit filed against me, however he could not give me any information because he was a "paralegal" and for me to call back and the " senior" attorney would answer the phone....I told him that I was heading down to the courthouse to see if any lawsuit was filed against me for anything and reminded him that payday loans are illegal I the state of Georgia....This is a scam!!!

This is a scam. Don't be frightened by it, as unnerving as it is. Write down the number and then call your phone company to have the number(s) blocked. If you keep it up, they will eventually stop. It's the only way to get rid of them.

Got a late night text from this number saying "Good Night Love You XOXOXOXO
So-they are texting too...I deleted it-What a great scam -of course someone would respond and say-who are you texting-you have the wrong number-and then of course they would know that they have a "LIVE" person at the number and start harrassing...I figured it was another type of scam...and I can see by all the reports that it is...these creeps should be prosecuted for harrassment!!!

I have also recieved these callng. Its sounds like he is saying he is joe brown from johnny bash law firm. I recieve these calls at 3 am. How do i get rid of these damn people. There is alot of scams people. I had a guy that hired me as a personal assistant from craigslist. He sounded legitate. He even went as far as sending me a $4500 cashiers check. When i was going to put it in my account they checked the firm and it was a fraud check. I am so tired of these people. Everyone watch out. I did let the bank give it to there fraud department. his name is derek earily saying he is in canada. SO what out for him as well.

I need this number to stop harrassing me

I got a call on my wifes phone from this number. It wasto the sameis indian sounding man claimingi he wasjust daniel clark from the lawis offices of johnnyu best. Really? Daniel Clark? He couldntjust even pronouncwe his ownmitb name. When i told him i was her husband what is the call concerning he told me there was a lawsuit filed against her and she has 3 charges. This was actually the 2ndis time these people have called. The time i played around with them for a while and kept calling them back and harrassing them. They didnt like it to much they took phone off the hook. This time i told them im sick of their bs and ive contacted the fbi and they should b xpecting a call from them. As soon as i said fbi mr clark hung up on me. I havent heard from since. Something has to be done about these idiots

Then they said this has already been to collections so If i call them no one could help be. He said that the total fees are 3000 + and that I will need to appear in the supior texas court. Then, they called my work number, and when i answered they just hung up. Since then, I have been trying to call back and they answer the phone and immediately hang up. Or it is a beep.....then dead silence. I did inform them that I was going to contact my attorney and I hung up the phone. This has me really freaked out just because they had all my information.

Man calls with very strong Indian accent and tells me that I am being arrested for a worthless check to a payday advance company.  He states he is Adam Spencer with the CA bar code # 35271.  He said I owed a total of $539.52 and that they were going to the CA Superior Court tomorrow morning to issue a warrant for my arrest.  When I explained that I would normally hear from the Sheriff's office in my county if that was the case, he stated that he didn't understand what I was saying.  Then he hung up the phone and when I tried calling the number back, no one answered.  SCAM!!!

I started getting the same calls from a person that could hardly speek English.  Said we had a payday loan and would be arrested too.  They said they were from the Jonny Best Law Office.  They are very harrassing pleople and it is a scam.  Don't fall for it.

Adam called me  said that I had a lawsuit and 3 charges and a warrant for my arrest . I told these morons that it was illegal for payday loans to operate in the state of GA . This moron then told me that it was illegal for me to apply for a payday loan . I told these morons that I never applied for a payday loan . Adam told me that I was going to be arrested and hope I like jail . I called them back and begin harassing them . They stopped answering my calls . Lol , just turn the tables on the dumbasses .
