This is yet another number used by "card services" offering to lower the interest rate on your credit card.  They don't know which card and they try to guess, but usually are incorrect.  You own credit card company will never call and offer to lower your rates.  This is a scam to obtain your credit card information.  Do NOT give it to them.  You should only give such information when you initiate the call to your credit card company to a number you know (and is published) is directly to them.

Have to wonder why there isn't a "scam" selection in the drop down menu for 800notes.

I too have a missed call on my cell phone from the number.  Glad I wasn't around to answer.  Tip to all, if someone calls and makes you an offer, I respond by asking them to mail me the information in writing.  If they ask for my mailing address, I respond by saying that they should already have it.  And I NEVER confirm nor give my address.  They waste my time, I waste their time.

I got a call from this number.  I actually get a lot of these with the area codes being from California, when I answered, no one answered and no message played.  I called the number back and it was a number that didn't exist.

Wanted to lower my interest rate. Guessed at the type of card and I told them sorry wasn't interested!

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Got a call from (951) 609-0198 had no clue who it was so I let it go to my voicemail. They didn't leave a message so I tried calling it back and all I got was a busy signal

Got a call  on my cell phone.  No one said anything, then the call just disconnected.

this number called me and i asked what the heck they wanted and am on do not calll ist they hung up immediately. will file complaint against them

I received a phone call from 951-609-0198. There was a message saying they were credit card services and press 1 if I wanted to lower my rates. I pressed 1 and asked to be removed from their call list. They hung up on me.

Got a call from Lujan Adelaida.  Same drill as others reported.  I pressed 1 to get a live body.  The call was answered but the connection was so poor, I could barely hear her.  Was asked if I was calling about lowering my interest rates.  I responded that "I am on the Do Not . . ." That's as far as I got before the line went dead.  I have reported them, but don't know if that does any good.

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

let this number go to voice mail but none left searched number on internet found this and decided to leave message that I Don't Answer unless you have a name with the number

Looks like they're firing this scam up again.  I received a call, did not answer, no message left.  Presumably called by the same folks who were busy with this number in January.

the first number they tried was a norma briggs and that didn't work so now today i get one from this one. Im kinda miffed that they keep trying when I told the operator clearly to stop calling me.

Card Services.    Who in their right mind would consider talking business with a telemarketer?
