Got a call...but no message.  Blocking the number.

No message left, now blocked

Called my cell and left no message.  Blocking it.

Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which usually means telemarketer/scammer since every legitimate caller I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Moreno Valley, California with 3 service providers of Verizon Wireless, Cellco Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless-CA and 01 Communications Inc.-CA which are favorites for scammers. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a VoIP System to phish for personal information while running some scam. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.

Caller is HVAC service

My home phone caller ID shows MORENO VLY CA  called at 5:36 PM 8/8/2016. Caller did not stay on line long enough to trigger answering machine and I do not answer calls with city name in place of a company name.

A/C telemarketer possible scam

HVAC service.. not even in my area?  Do they think since I am on DNC list I would ever utilize them even if they were legit? No..  If anything I will never use a company that calls.

Caller ID: UNKNOWN NAME  Hang up after machine answered.

This number shows in my home phone caller ID calling at 2:44 PM on Sunday 8/28/2016. ID shows MORENO VLY CA as the caller so I decided not to answer. Phone only rand 3 times so it did not trigger answering machine. On a Sunday? All signe of a crook or scammer I am glad I avoided.
