trying to find out who called.

I've gotten about 5 calls from this number ( Obtained by dialing "*69" after they hung up )asking if it's my son-in-law's address.  If so, press "9". If not, ask him to call 800-918-2295.  There's no apparent connection and he says he's never given my number out.  Additionally my mother has received identical calls asking for him.  It's getting a bit tiresome and one of the calls came at 11 pm!!! I have never blocked a number but I'm fixing to look into having it blocked.  I'm afraid if I press the "9" to see what's up I'll get on some ***hole's calling list so I'm not going to do that!

I'm just itching to find out who it is too!!!  If you find out please post it here.

I received a call from that number just now.  Very strong hispanic accent saying something about the secret service and giving an 800 number to call.  then after he says thank you and goodbye, a deep voice comes on repeating "peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches" several times.

The same thing is happening to me.  I answer the call and no one says anything.  I get a call everyday.

We get a call from 952-215-3684 and otehr numbers telling us to return
call to 800-918-2295.  Since the calling number is changing, I'm not
sure we can block them.  It's already annoying.

Bryan Woodcock, have you tried contacting that bank/agency?  What information
did you get?

Called and asked for "Karen",.."there is no Karen here, who is this?" "Joseph Lee, who is this"?  "This is the man that owns this house - you are (calling for)" "I just told you who I am, who are you?" CLICK...

Gotta be telemarketer or debt collection,...but calling me? WHY?

Unsolicited call - will find them and inform them they are not welcome to call my house again,... good luckto you all.

I talked to him, he said Karen Henis (sp?) gave this (my)number as her home phone – I explained that I built this 2 year old house and that no one by that name has ever lived here, I'm sure of it"...he obliged and said that he will take our home phone number out of his system…. Thank you….

I suggest you all do the same,... the are a debt collection agency - if you owe, good luck, they are persistent....

Got a call from them, apparently, I had some bills going to an old address and my account was delinquent! They helped me pay my debt right on the first call w/ the first person I spoke to and will remove the deliquent charge from my credit report.

They were by no means harassing or unnecessarily rude. If you are receiving mistaken calls, just talk to them, they will clear it up right away.

Idiots keep calling and asking for Alonzo, if these people are a collection agency based in Minnesota, do they relize they are calling Massachusetts??

Whole thing sounds like a scam. I wouldn't call any of the numbers posted here.

I've been receiving calls where they ask for someone I've never even heard of and they give a call number, which is 1(800) 918-2295.  I get these calls every day and I don't know what to do to get rid of it.  Can someone tell me what I can do to stop these calls.

These calls come on my machine any time day or night, there is only some crazy sounding circus music. No voice and its the same music everytime. And it's turned up LOUD! Finally ran the call search, got the number and came here. Since they don't bother to state their business I can only assume it is harrassment.

I keep getting calls from this number asking for Sharon W.  I guess it was her phone number before it was mine.  I have had the number for four years and the calls go in a cycle.  I have call the number for Joseph Lee, left message telling him to do a reverse directory search to see it isn't her number, I shall see if it helps.

I keep getting messages from this number asking for someone named Omar Barientos, and that if I'm not Omar to call them back on an 800 number. I've had the number for almost three years, and have no idea who Omar is. If CPC keeps leaving fake names, maybe it's some sort of trick to get people to call the number back.

Refuses to take number out of data based asking for someone who does not live here any longer and did a skip search on another number that knows the same person, even went as far as to finding out about the ministry that person is connected to.

I got a call from this number this morning, i asked who it was all i got was name "Earnie" when I asked to know what company he was representing, refused to give me name and just kept telling me "quit playing games with me" I called the number from my caller ID, and spoke to a person who identified the company as CPC when I asked more info about it, all i got was "read the letter you got" and hung up! I called back again and spoke with same person, told him about the call i got and stated he apologized for the rudeness and said he would removed my number from his data base. And that I would never get a call from phone line ever again.

Caller always say that I owe a bill that's 25 years old.
