Same thing for me - call but no message.

I called back and it was Summit Air.

They called two weeks ago, addressed me by name and asked if I'd participate in a short survey about air quality "in my area."  They called back today to inform me I'd been "selected" to win a prize (a digital camera, emergency car kit or 2-day/2-night stay at a fancy hotel).  They could deliver it at various times today or tomorrow.  Would my wife be home, too?  Why, I asked.  Well, they'd like both spouses to be home for a "brief demonstration of air purifiers."  Sorry...I want nothing to do with you!  I hate scams like this!  I've had no previous dealings with this company and this tactic is deceptive.

This number called once yesterday evening - I misssed the call  - no message left. I too, am on a nationwide "no call list". They need to do their homework before calling!!

A few days ago someone called and asked if I'd be interested in taking a short survey.  My name would then be entered into a drawing.  Today, this number called 4 times IN A ROW.  Seriously.  As if that wasn't irritating enough, when I finally did answer the woman was very hesitant to give me any information.  She kept answering my questions with a question and refused to give me a straight answer.  Then she hung up.  WOW.  

The number shows up as "ENVIRONMENTAL S" on the caller ID.

A few days ago someone from a (952) 746-6683 (Summit Air Indu) called and asked if I'd be interested in taking a short survey.  My name would then be entered into a drawing.  Today, a different number (952-944-6036) called 4 times IN A ROW.  Seriously.  As if that wasn't irritating enough, when I finally did answer the woman was very hesitant to give me any information.  She kept answering my questions with a question and refused to give me a straight answer.  Then she hung up.  WOW.  

When I called back her "sales associate" claimed she was on a break and would call me back in 10 minutes.  She never did...

They lie and say it's an air purifier but it's really a 3 hour high pressure pitch for a $2000 over priced vacuum. Don't take the bait.

Same here.  Got a call from "Environmental S" saying that they were doing a survey on air quality in our area.  Said we would be entered in a drawing.  Told them to put me on their do-not-call list.  We'll see what happens!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

I took the bait on a scratch off game that was sent in the mail. The game was “Poker Jackpot”, when I scratched off I had a winning hand. I called the number to see what I had won and I was told that someone would need to come and verify my winning card. I was also told that after I received my prize, they would like 30 minutes of my time to do a demonstration on Air Quality System. I entertained the idea because my entire family suffers from bad allergies. Well, 2 people showed up at my house. The gentleman was a sales rep and the girl was a trainee. They came 15 minutes early, usually wouldn’t have been a big deal, but I had just walked in to our house with my 3 little children. My husband got home about 5 minutes before me and he was working on supper. Since they arrived early, supper was put on hold. This was only going to be a 30 minute demo, so supper could wait a little bit. Not only did I get an Air Quality System demo, they also demoed a surface cleaner. I was completely insulted when the girl asked if the sales rep was going to start using my vacuum cleaner. When he said “yes” she walked out of my house and then came back in with a face mask. She said that she was allergic to vacuum cleaners because they push around so much dust and she’s allergic to dust. The red flag immediately came up, during the entire presentation the sales rep was using filters that was catching dust. He would then take a light and scrap the dust off in to the air, the trainee was sitting right next to him the entire time. So why all of a sudden is dust going to bother you now? 2 hours later these people were still in my house.   I told them that I was not going to buy anything at that point, I needed to discuss the decision with my husband (who was already really annoyed and had completely removed himself from the presentation). The sales rep said that the prices he had to offer were only good while he was there. I then told him that I wasn’t going to do an impulse buy and that I needed to discuss our family budget with my Husband. He then said “Come on, people impulse buy all of the time. Can you really tell me that you have no idea what’s in your budget”. At this point, I’m starting to get very angry. I told him several times that I didn’t want to buy anything. The cost of the products was well over a budget that I could afford.  Even if I could afford the products, I would have turned them down because of the way that he was treating me. It took me 35 minutes to get them out of my house. In all the 30 minute demo turned in to a 2 hour and 15 minute demo and I got a Chefmaster/KitchenWorthy BBQ Set that is not kitchen worthy by any means. I should have required them to show me the prize that I won when they got there, like they said on the sales call. I wonder if I would’ve received something better had I bought something. All in all, they are extremely rude and over stay their welcome!

I finally got them to stop calling here, but today got the scratch off game in the mail.  Went in the trash.

Received a scratch card. Says no obligation on it but can't receive a prize unless the show you a demo. Told them to leave. Now receiving phone calls from them. What a scsm

Why hasn't anyone reported these people to the better business bureau?

No message.

They called my cell phone.  I didn't get to the phone to answer, but as I am expecting calls from this area code, I called the number back.  They answered "Fun Control Gift Department, this is Courtney."    I googled it, and there is no such thing, but there is an Eden Prairie (area code 952) window replacement place called "Sun Control".   Either way, it's not who I was expecting, so they're on the block list now.

I have difficulty walking and I hav had exactly the same cperienxe. Shirt survey and today four calls.  Can't something be done with these people? This is annoying and I don't want to risk falling.

I took a survey about a month ago and told that my name would be placed in a drawing for a prize.  After the call, I blocked the number.  A week later, someone called me on another number to inform me that I won.  I asked if I could call them back as we were having dinner.  The person said that they would call me back.  I blocked this number.  Today, I received a call from 952-944-6036.  I did not answer.  This number is now blocked, too.  Wow!  Relentless!

This company has called me at least 3 times. They start out asking if anyone in your family has allergies or asthma, then ask if you have noticed a difference in the air quality - better or worse, then they ask if you have any air purifiers beside furnace filter, after that they start asking you about your income (I wouldn't answer) and none of their business. They do know your name and ask specifically for you and I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I have added my name at least twice and it doesn't seem to be working.
