Twice in two days on  my mobile, number looks fake. Don't leave voicemail message.

They called today, shortly after another similar number of

949-100-0001 and this number is 954-100-0001.

Seems related to me.With the new "show what you want" caller ID service
this could be fake numbers.It must be some SCAM, since they won't ID themselves. I didn't answer. But I have been reporting Every Single Call
to the proper authorities. I must have reported 15 or more calls just today alone! I can't wait for the phone to ring again, so I can report them again!

They called this morning at 8:05 am. Then I received unknown calls :

9:47 am "unavailable"

3:11 pm  "unavailable"

5:12 pm "private call"

7:14 pm "private call"

I did Not answer. I just DO NOT answer unknown calls. I NEVER do!
Someone is Desparate for me to answer with all the unavailables
private calls, fake numbers, and calls so early in the morning.
I'm beginning to think I have a phone stalker. I am reporting
all of it. :)

I don't know what they expect anyway.
Even IF I did answer, Nothing would happen.
I would just say "Wrong Number" and hang up
before they could say anything else.
Or have my answering machine tell them to Hold until they hang up.
I have No intentions whatsoever of talking to strangers on the phone.
Alot of time and wasted effort on Nothing. LOL!

Received a call @ 2:00pm- Person wanted to verify my address and information, I asked what company he was with and what it was for and he wouldnt say so I told them that they needed to fax or mail me the info and I will verify it. Guy said thanks and hung up.

That is interesting.After receiving several 954-100-0001 numbers
And 949-100-0001 numbers..... I received a call from 866-383-0986.
I googled the 866 number and found it was coming from India,
they have called others trying to verify information, wanting fax numbers,
trying to get Bank account numbers for a "medical card".
They tricked one person into giving bank information and took almost
180.00 out of her bank account.They are phishing for Information.
They are Scammers.
So these 3 numbers are SCAM Related :
866-383-0986
949-100-0001
954-100-0001
"unavailable" shows up alot on caller ID with these calls.

Same SCAM, just different numbers.

Lady called and wanted to verfy location and other info. Wanted me to give authorization to that account. I ask'd what account? Then she stated she will transfer me to there quality-control and you could here her pushing numbers on the phone. Then she wanted me to state I was the asst. Owner. I told her I was not comfortable doing that and she got mad at me and said this was important. I hung up.
              P.S. Nothing felt right about any of it!!

Very "pushy" lady called and wanted to verfy location and other information.  Then she stated that she would transfer me to their quality-control to further verify.  She told me that when they said to push any buttons, don't do it because she would do that for me. You could hear her pushing numbers on the phone.  I hung up. She keeps calling back.  I tried to block her number, but my service says that the number is not valid.  Hopefully I don't get any charges on my phone bill for the buttons she pressed before I hung up on her!
             P.S. Nothing felt right about any of it!!

they call my number at least 3-4 times a day. if i answer, they hang up. private name private number calls most evenings just before 10 p.m. what can we do to stop this harassment?

Have gotten at least 20 calls from 954-100-0001 they wont say anything and or the call is disconnected when I answer

They have called me at least 30 times so far.

The phone rings and rings what seems like 15 to 30 rings.
caller ID says 954-100-0001
          name : unavailable
I never have answered. I just report them to my attorney general
and the Federal Trade Commission. I have reported them 30 times so far
and will continue to do so. Maybe after enough complaints
it will cost them fines and money.
I'm going to start reporting them to the phone company and police.
I have a complete log of all their calls and have reported
every single one.
I never answer, I won't give them the satisfaction.

Person wanted me to verify my address and information.
I told her I wasn't verifying sh*t
she hung up.

This number just keep calling, called it back on a friends business line and it is a non working Nextel number..spoffing phone #s...would love to reach through the phone line and see them eye to eye

When I answer,they won't say anything, I hear silence,
thought I heard someone whispering,but I could not understand
what they were saying, then they hung up.

They have called several times the past couple of weeks, acting like they are they are verifing information for an online business directory.  Once they get thru the basic info - Busines name, address & phone number, they want to offer some enhanced offering and send you to the next level in their scheme.  They can hardly speek English, so a this point I tell them I'm not interested and terminate the call.  It's still a big waste of my time and probably an offshore organized phishing scheme.

954-100-0001 has called aprox. 6x today with no one on the other end. So I hang up. I haven't stayed on the line long just to say hello and hang up... Comes up as unknown and Florida Call

they called asking if this is a business phone.
They could barely speak english.I could not understand them
and had no clue of what they were saying.
I made them repeat it 4 times. Then I gave them an ear full
of how they call 15 times a day for over a month,
and how I have reported every single phone call to FCC
police, and my attorney general, and how I was getting ready
to file a lawsuit against them, since I have all this paper
work and records of complaints against them.

He blabbed something about Download Internet Services for Businesses.
I Never answered his question.
I pretty much told him to f* off and go to hell.
he thanked me for taking the call and hung up.

Same as others...could understand every third word...trying to get information about my company and myself (which I gave them some, just not correct) and then sent me up the line to "quality control" where they blabbered on forever about free services I was already receiving and that they would send me more information about an upgraded service that would only cost $29.99 or some crap.  That's about the time I hung up.  The A-holes have called 10 times a day ever since.

They have called numerous times in the past few months, acting like they are they are verifing information for an online business directory.  I keep telling them that I am not interested and to remove my name from their call list.  I have even reminded them that I am on the national do not call registry.  Today was a new one...the guy acted like he was following up on my request to remove my name from the list - told me I had to listen to this message and that he would press the # key for me - all that I had to do was to answer the machine's questions.  I insisted that I do not want any updates, offers, mailings, etc. but he said the only way to get off the list is to go through the prompts.  It was, needless to say, a hoax - more of the same crap about offers, charging my credit card (which I never gave them) etc.  I let them have it verbally.  Took the phone number, guy said his name was Sid and he was a supervisor.  Told him that I was reporting them to the FCC for violating the national do not call registry.  Wish we didn't have to put up with this very annoying stuff!
