It seems being on the do not call registry doesnt work anymore.
- LindaI shut my ringer off... I believe it's GE financial... since they are the only ones that "should" be calling. I made an error in the amount of payment and they are harrassing me now...although I told them the money is on the way and it is. They are relentless... They will be paid off soon and I can't wait!! NEVER AGAIN...cash or nothing!! Maybe if their call center was here in the US things would be different! That alone is a reason not to finance through them again. Outsourcing traitors!!
- MoMocalled the number back (from a different phone). it said it was a marketing firm of some sort but no name! I think it should be crime to call people and bother them!
- Caller: unknown
- MadThey are a scam wanting to reduce your credit card rates. I have no credit cards. They either want your credit card number or they already have it and just need the 3 digit code on the back.
- Caller: FTLAUDERDL FL
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JhonoKeep getting calls from this number; when I key in to talk to someone, the instant the operator hears that I'm telling them not to call back, he hangs up. Wish there was some way to block these jerks...
- WI didnt answer and got a voicemail. I sounded like it said "line to be removed untill further notice" I have no idea what that is suposed to mean
- Caller: ?
- Tired_Of_ItAnother call from "lower your interest rates" -Opt out number does not work.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- StopCallingMeI am just going to block the entire area code of 954 numbers. I don't know anyone in Florida.
The funny thing about this is that the caller ID shows that the call came from a cell phone. What legit bank or credit card company is going to call you using a cell phone? None. - MeIt's the exact same message as Rachel, but now it introduces itself as Jennifer from Consumer Services. Whatever, they're still scammers.
- Caller: Consumer Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Elene| 1 replyThey keep calling even though I never pick up on numbers like these. Why doesn't the Govt do something about these callers. More and more of these are calling now. Won't be long until our phones will be ringing all day long. We deserve some privacy! And we are having to pay for such phone calls as the Telephone Service doesn't care either.
- Caller: Unknown
- Rick Bcaller ID as Fort Lauderd Fl and left recorded message on voicemail about "..reduce your rates.." scam. I don't know anyone in Fla so I don't answer. I've turned my ringer off. I check caller ID now and then to see if anyone I know called and ignore the rest of them. Most of my friends and family know when to call. Nice and quiet now. Once people stop answering the phone, they will have to stop calling because no one to bother.
- Caller: scam

Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You will not get compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

http://www.fcc.gov/guides/unwanted-telephone-marketing-calls - LisaCalled it back and recorded message said it was a marketing call from MAC. Gave me the option to opt out of their calling lists.
- pay back
- LeeGot a recorded message on my machine claiming to call about my credit card account and wanting to lower the interest rate and increase the limit. The caller id came up as FTLAUDERDL FL.
- Caller: 954-210-6071
- Card Services = Consumer Services| 1 replyIt's the usual Card Services scam robocall. They also use the name Consumer Services. They usually leave a message to press one now and speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates. The message got cut off and all I heard was press 9 to be removed from further notices. There's no way I'm going to press 9 and verify my number. That will make it worse. They have already called hundreds if not thousands of times and they will just keep calling and probably increase the calls. They usually call 5-10 times per day or more and they use many different numbers. This time they called from 954-210-6071.
- Caller: Card Services/Consumer Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Sandy replies to PaulaEveryone here, buy a loud whistle to keep by the phone. That's what I did. I dunno if it works but it's sure fun for me
