I Called back. A call center  rep answered (other reps talking in background), she explained the call was about health insurance. I simply hung up. I'm betting because I was searching online for health insurance and actually joined what I THOUGHT was a good PPO, but turned out to be useless if you're a prostate cancer patient. That opened the door.

I, too, searched internet for low cost healthcare.  I've been inundated with calls for the last two months with yet another number related to so-called healthcare.  I never answer unknown numbers and now have a collection of scamming callers/companies trying to promote low cost healthcare:

Searched multiple sites.  Most come up as healthcare telemarketers.  Ever since hearing about scams & hijacking of info from mobile phones while on "hold", I never answer unknown numbers, or call back. As I've already blocked the above 10 numbers, there's always another that comes up 2-3 days later.  I recommend not answering any # you don't know...ever =)

Same here , it is annoying to say the least, I have blocked so many it is getting ridiculus, and I already have health care, pisses me off

Miserable little witches.   8 calls within 5 hours.   Asked to not call again.  So rude.   How can I file a complaint or get rid of them?

Register your phone number/s with DO NOT CALL.GOV then you can diffently file a complaint with them.
I do it all the time. So far no calls from a complaint number after the original.

REGISTER WITH DO NOT CALL. GOV AND FILE COMPLAINTS. THE INCOMING CALLS ARE TELEMARKETERS ATTEMPTING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING YOU DO WANT OR DON'T NEED.

I am registered with the DO NOT CALL Registry and I have not been on the internet looking for health insurance, so I have no idea why these people are calling me 10 times a day!

Try not to go "on-line" asking for general infomation. Google a specific insurance company, like United or
Blue Cross/Blue Shield and review their coverage. If someone calls, say No, I was looking at the plan I am
already covered under and they will hangup.

Trying to sell health insurance, told them to get a life, a real job and stop bothering people! Added this number to my block list.

Well good luck with that do not call list, I've had filed so many complaints with them and I still get non stop call, had one today from a number that started with an 8 than the 7 digit number, where that came from who knows. it's to the point that I just leave my phone turned off. You would figure that as much as we pay for phone service the phone company could do something to protect their customers.

I wish I never looked up what the health care exchange had to offer.  a bunch of hungry beasts out there. I am rejecting all the calls

I have been opted into a list due to an inquiry about short-term health insurance. I've received 10+ calls from a combination of this number and several other in the past hour despite asking to be removed from this list.

I have already done the DO NOT CALL list.but they still call. I haven't even looked for Health Ins.

For 3 days I have received 41 calls from 11 different numbers in 8 different states. This being one of them. They leave no message & don't say anything when I answer. It's becoming ridiculous & I'm about to change my phone number.
