recieved 2x didnt answer

I received approx 10 calls over a two week period while away for Thanksgiving.  Received another call today, I answered after the 2nd ring and the caller (or calling machine) hung up immediately.

I added it to the 'National DO NOT CALL" directory.

Received calls constantly from this N0. I answered today,they said: This is  Police Dpt. of Plantation,start to talk very agressive and demanding,telling  me how to answer and what to do.

They want money. So, I asked them if they want to pay my 3months late mortgage.

This number has been calling me every single day for the past 3 weeks.  Since I don't know the number and they are not leaving any messages, I refuse to answer.

I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry, but this number, 954-358-2224, caller ID is J&G of South FL, has been calling every day for the past several weeks.  I don't answer calls that I don't recognize, but these people don't give up.  They call overand over again.

get calls from this number 3 times a day. Nobody will answer. How do you get them to stop calling. Really getting to be a pain.

Got a call just now from 954-358-2224, guy said he was Brian calling for the Coral Springs police. Called the Coral Springs police and they said it's a scam as they have no one calling on their behalf.

This number has been calling my house for months sometimes 2-3x a day. No one ever says anthing when I answer and when I call back it's either busy or the line keeps ringing.

I keep getting calls from this number serveral times a week and from several other numbers too.  I've entered my number on the National Do Not Call Registry several times but still get calls. I just came across this site and I have no idea what will posting these numbers here do? The do not call registry is useless and so is whining about it here. The only way to stop these annoying calls is to batter them repeatedly with calls back and use a loud whistle when they answer.  When they hang up, just keep calling back.  As long as their line is busy with you calling in, they cant call out.

They are a police fraternity.  They are exempt from the dnc list.  The reason there may not be someone on the phone when you answer is either, a. there is a delay in the call, or the dialer assumed you are not home.  The dnc list was just a political agenda.  In other words, as in the case of most laws, they are put in place just to get votes.

just let it go to voicemail.  After the first 3 times I answered and got no reply, I dont answer anymore.  I think we're locked into some automated system and they dont know it.  By the way, they're located in Ft. Lauderdale as someone posted their address on another site along with a company phone and fax number.

Not a good move to call them back. It just confirms that your number is valid.

It only took two calls for me to get annoyed.  I activated my call blocking service from AT&T and they're the first (and only) number, so far.  Let them try to get through to me now, freaking #*@!%!.

Please let me know how to report this scan to some enforcement law agency. This guys are calling several time demanding for money and I refused to give then a simple nickel.  Somebody need to take actions against these guys. tHE "NOT-CALL" is not working with this number.  They are very demanding and not polite.
