Harassment call

The number belongs to a collections company by the name of DRS Inc. located in Texas. They harass people for their information. Don't be fooled and don't give out your information!

DRS...Called me...amazingly rude,harrased me. They claimed to be looking for someone who I dont even know. They refused to give me information of any kind, once I asked so many times, the woman was so rude and even hung up on me.

954-417-7324 called from Hollywood FL looking for someone who rented here almost three years ago before I bought the house. Apparently they are using reverse lookup from the address. I've had SO MANY of these calls -- at one time the former renter was getting more calls than I was, and she never had my phone number, just the same address. How clueless are these collectors? I've blocked as many as I can within the limits of my phone service, because they call again and again.

Calls--hangs up. Tries to collect debt that is past 7 year limit. Illegally resubmits old debt as current debt.

they called and left a message saying they have a matter in there office that is very important gave a number 866-421-4920 then said he was required to inform that this is an attempt to collect a debt... blah blah blah Also did not leave a company name just said that he was Mr Cole.

I received a call from the same number (same company).  After reading this post I did not return the call.  Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from a client of mine who said he received a call from this same number asking him how to contact me?  Have no idea what this is about or how the caller made the connection between my client and me. The only connection would be through a company I use to service the client's account. That company is a major national firm that is highly unlikely to release that sort of information.

Our telephone number here is 8 6 6   4 2 1   4 9 9 8, again that number is 8 6 6   4 2 1   49 98. Uhh, I am also required to inform you that this is an attempt to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please give us a call as soon as possible, thanks.

I too have received many calls looking for someone else, however IF they were legit it would appear that they would call from the same local or 800 number.  This is a business and unfortunately it appears we have no recourse but to simply hang up.  They are very annoying and rudely insistent.

Now that everyone is complaining what is going to happen.? NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN

they denied calling me.
said they were a debt collector DRS Inc. ...
didnt say they were dynamic recovery services inc.

They called me but didn't mention debt - good thing because I am lucky enough to not have any debt.  AND I'm on the Federal do not call list - for all the good it does.

I received a call today looking seeking information from a Bonnie. She stated that she has important paperwork in her office that needs attention. I too, have no debt and she never reported that this was an attempt to collect a debt. She asked for my employers information. She asked for another number that I could be reached. She indicated that the information was time-sensitive and required urgent action.

So bogus.

I also recd call from 954-417-7324. They dont say who they are looking for...just that they have an important matter in their office that needs your attention and later say it is an attempt to collect a debt. Then they give toll free number: 866-637-7739.
I have been in Accts. Receivable for 30+ years and I have done collections. They are supposed to identify their company and who they are looking for  and that it's an attempt to collect. when did companies start doing BLIND collections? Fair Debt Practices requires them to identify themselves, so if you tell them you are the wrong party, and they continue to harass you, you can sue them for harassment. Hard to do that if you dont know who they are, yes?

and disturb my peace..   Never, ever call one of these scumbags back...  It just gets much worse
when they know they have found someone to scam..

Hopefully you didn't give her any of the information she was asking for.
