I got a note on my door

Got door hanger note stuck to both my husband's car window and mine.
Have no idea who these people are, called the number 954-491-9995 rings without an answer. These people are rude to be coming into our yard and even touching our personal property.

My wife had a note taped to her car window.
"OFFICIAL REQUEST" OUR HOME ADDRESS A CASE NUMBER AND IT STATED "PLEASE CALL (954) 491-9995 IMMEDIATELY IN REGARD TO A LEGAL MATTER"

I called the number several times without response. Then someone answered and garbeled something a put me on hold. I hung up and called again the same garbeled response and then I was asked the case number on the card which I gave and then he asked if I was John Longo I asked who he was and he stated an investigator . I said what do want and he said it has already been resolved and put my on extended hold.

Same experience - left on one of our tenants doors but no answer after repeated dialing seems like some kind of scam but can't see how they make a buck!

Maybe they want you to call so they can capture your phone number and sell it.

Had the note placed on my door called and found out it was a investigation company looking  for a family member stating her car was up for repo and they are looking for the car and soon they would get a court order to pick it up

Theyre trying to repo someones car. It's a repo company.

They are disgusting. They use Blue masking tape! It's trespassing. I told them if they left it again, I will press charges.

What was the result here after being left on hold? What his VEHICLE REPOSSESSED?

Absolutely do not want this company ever calling my telephone again. They called me, in regards to my son and his business. 1) They used bogus titles to scare people. 2) The tone in the voice was an attempt to intimidate an individual. Why? He was looking for my son, not me. So why try to be aggressive with me, in the call. 3) I always tell everyone, "You get more Bee's with honey." 4) All he did was agitate me and cause me to do some research. That's how I found out they were a DARN Repo company. Do your job and that means by not calling me. Leave me the hell alone. 5) It's actually illegal for them to use fake names and pretend to be a SHERIFF'S office. At least that's what one thinks right away, because of the (Tone, Title and County) they use in attempt to sound like they are coming after someone. Wowww......as if people don't already have enough problems. They say they are a PRIVATE INVESTIGATIONS so the R stands for REPO!

I just don't think they are suppose to be calling and giving out all that information. Not even to family members. If they are going to get a court order, then they should and leave people alone.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

I would also file complaints with the local PD...

Oh he said he name was "Investigator Stevens!" Try calling back and you won't get him you will get tons of others that all of a sudden don't know who or that they claim to be an INVESTIGATOR. Just ridiculous, if they call me again for someone else, I'm calling legal aide on them. I also know my rights and I don't want to be stressed out by them about someone else. Regardless of the relationship!

Thank You Tamiath, I am going to do just that, I was totally thrown off by the call. My entire work day is ruined. Even though the call wasn't about me its the principle of the matter. Now I have to mentally, get myself back on track with work. Darn liars!

Course I got a note on my car to around 3:15 am I don't have any idea why I got this and the funny thing is that am on time on my car payment so after I read all your comment I feel much better but course I have to find out who and what they looking for

I found this note taped to my garage door...they use   blue masking tape...and shows as an official request with a case #!!!  I called the # and nobody answers...it's insane!  I don't owe anyone...no mortgage...no car loans....what to do?  I can't get any answers.
