The number 954-556-6172 called on June 23, 2008, at approx. 12:08 pm.  I answered the call expecting my roofing contractor.  Instead I get a pre-recoreded message trying to sell carpet cleaning.  My number is private and on the "Do Not Call" Registry.  Who ever this is they need to watch out.  The Feds will be after them next time around.

On my caller id, UNKNOWN NAME, 954-556-6172, 6/25/08, 10;44am, no message, listens & h/up. We are also on the DNCL and have no idea why this and other unwanted calls keep annoying us.  I am also a westonian.

these idiots called my house and cell on the east side of town. it isn't just weston. i am on the DNCL also for both numbers

If these people keep this up they just might find their number on Craigslist with an ad listing lots of free goddies to give away!!!!!!

numerous calls received from this number wanting to sell carpet cleaning.  I tried to push #1 on the phone to get a live person to tell them that I am on the "do not call" list, but the message just repeats.  The phone company is NO help

Called 7/1/2008 at 9:35 am.  "Dianne" in pre-recorded message (violation of FCC laws) offers carpet cleaning and hallway for free if you make an appt now.  Press 1 for appointment.  Woman answers.  I asked where they were located - she says Ft. Lauderdale.  I asked for their address - she says they have several locations.  I asked for the corporate location so I could call them - she hung up on me.  I am on the DNC list.  I have received calls from them before under various names - Best Carpet Cleaning, etc.  Caller ID just says Ft. Lauderdale and the number.  I'll get them - I report every call to FCC Do Not call violations and also to the site for pre-recorded soliciting calls.  Autodialer recorded marketing calls can be penalized even if the phone number called is not registered on DNC list.  To file a complaint:  Form 1088 found at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html

My telephone rang at 9:54 AM, 07/03/08, I looked at my caller ID and didn't recognize the number, so I allowed it to go to my recorder. The caller hung up upon receiving my recorder. This is the procedure of all companies that are solicitors as they know my number is listed on the Do Not Call list. I googled the number and results were a list of complaints from people stating it was a carpet cleaning company. I have tile throughout my condominium. I have reported solicitation calls to the DNCL and to no avail in my opinion it's a waste of my time

this number just called me i ride a motorcycle so i miss and call back alot, but wen i called back the number was out of service only 5 min after i missed it on my cell phone. iv been putig out alot of resumes and i was expecting it to be a resteraunt i applied to so i googled it and found this.

RECEIVED CALL ON CELL PHONE. WENT TO VOICE MAIL. NO MESSAGE LEFT, WHEN I TRIED TO RETURN CALL, RECORDING SAID "NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE". ALSO ON DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

Just listen to the entire blah blah message then pay close attention to the end of the recording... it will ask u to press 2 if you do not wish to be considered in the future (somewhere along the line of those words). I pressed the #2 and haven't received another call since. This was over a month ago. I was getting calls 3 to 4 times per week. Not anymore, try it!

Oh yeah, when prompted DO NOT PRESS THE # 1 wait till you are prompted to press # 2!

Pressing number 1 is only giving them permission to keep you on their list of callers!
