sent unsolicited text that won a prize, but I didn't enter any contests... definite scam...

Got a txt as well claiming to be giving away Carribean Cruise. Played them a bit and eventually after hearing a tempting offer, was asked to pay $118 for a boarding tax. But don't worry, the value is over $600 for free!... After asking more questions than they could handle i was sent to a "manager" named David, employee ID 4658. I eplained i was a soldier and happened to know this "tax" didn't apply to us (bs tax bs story lol) guess what!! He was a MARINE!! >_> a marine who attended "Basic" at Fort Texas.... And his MOS (After i explained what it was), get this... His MOS was Sergeant Major of the USMC lol So.... You decide, horrible business full of stolen valors OR, dirt bag scammers that would scam its own servicemen and also full of stolen valors.

Have been sent a text repeatedly in the last couple of months by this number saying I won a "100% free trip to the Bahamas" This is most definitely a scam!!! I have not entered any contests.

I just recieved the same text message about a cruise. I'm not responding. They might be able to pull that [***] on other people, but not this girl!

I also received a text from this number stating I won a no cost trip to the Bahamas. Don't fall for it people!!

Got the same text from 954-606-0770.  We are sure that it is a scam will not be calling.

Received a text message saying 500 tickets being given away...to call 954-606-0770. Called and the guy says it's a contest I entered within last 18 months. Never entered a contest to win a cruise. Also told him to take me off list, as my number is on "Nat'l Do Not Call List". He even had the nerve to be rude. "Eff him!!!"

These maggots are getting even more enterprising. As if getting 4 junk calls a day on my landline from various scammers isn't enough, now l have to be annoyed by junk texts while I'm driving. I guess the gov't. needs to set up a new bureaucracy: the Do Not Text Registry. Lol

I decided to call it after a whole long spew of how i won this lavish 3day cruise to the bahammas they ask my for $118 that has to paid today, when I told them I could not pay that today he transferred me to a "manager" and he got mad that I told him I would not be paying that today and called me "broke" lmao, such a scam. BE AWARE!

Just got a text,  too. Said I won first place in this week's contest.  I didn't enter any contest and I'm not responding to their text. I'm not gonna get scammed by these idiots.

This is typical scam text, it lets you to call this phone number: 954-606-0770 and go to this website: tripstothetropics.net. This is a Chinese scam site, registered by a Chinese name. Don't reply and enter any information!!!
