got a call this am but when I called it said it was disconnected

Received call about credit card.  Hung up.  We are on the do not call list.  Something has to be done about these calls.

Called a bookstore @ 1:15PM 6-18-97

Didn't answer as a name I did not recognize came up...Arther Bailey. I blocked the number.

If you get a call from this number, please submit a complain to the FTC and your state's attorney general!!!  This is a call from identify theft scammers.

This is the 2nd time this company has called me.  It starts with a pre-recorded message saying someting is wrong with my credit cards.  Talking to a live person each time results in offensive remarks made to me when I ask what company they work for, and to remove me from their calling lists.  The first time, they refused to tell me where they were located, only saying the "United States of America," and did not tell me a state.  The second call I asked which company he worked for, and he spelled out an offensive name and tried to get me to repeat it (I was writing it down and realized it before I repeated the name back to him.)  I've checked the web for the offending phone number (*69 gave me 954-689-7681) and there have been many other types of calls originating from that phone number.  

Phone number is listed in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and phone company is South Central Bell (now Bell South.)

I'm on the National DNC, Calif.'s DNC, and have sent in forms to the credit cards to stop credit card applications. It still didn't stop a call from 954-689-7681.

Only way to shut these guys down is to file a complaint.

Lady stated I had an account with Capital One, which I don't, and wanted my SS#. I refused and she stated I was not cooperating and that untill I cooperated they would keep calling me until I gave them the information they needed. I am also on the no call list and this is violation of that...

Received a call from these jokers last night regarding our "credit cards", interesting since we have none.  Option 2 to be removed, disconnects when pushed.  Also on Do Not Call list.  I've filed a complaint with the FCC as well.

They called me at 4:30 yesterday, called back this morning and got a phone number is disconnected recording

Also on the National Do Not Call List. Same as other complaints. I do not like it, it waste my time. Why is other companys giving out my number? Do they want me to give out theirs? Really would be glad to!!!!!!

Yep got a call from the fake #. They had trouble verifying my CC account so they had to call me back, heh. The return call was from 813-464-2288, also no name but when I called it an operator answered just like the one originally when I pressed 2 to get through. Same speech. This will be the # of the DNC violating call center. The Card company is Versa Debt Inc. http://versadebt.com/  I spoke to both Blake Curtis and to Jordan Heinz. The call back for the company in Marietta Georgia is 877-680-2238 also on the web site. He said they'd been there 6 years but the web site is new CR 2007 and the domain registered in March of 07. The Whois says Marvin Cox in Fla. So that was probably a lie. This should be reported to the Fl AG as well as the FTC.
