Dead air when I answered.

I called the number 954-692-7699;I beleive the recording says that it is Purple Heart Fundraising and its states that they registered in the State and they are on their way with fundraising efforts.  It then references an 800# for more info. I'm not interested, so I did not call the 800#.

Call came in at 8:08EST, when I answered, nothing and then the line went dead.

Never leaves a message.  Calls after 9:00 p.m.   These need to stop!

Calls at all times day and night... start around 6:30 AM, last well after 9PM!  Never answer because I don't know these people.  Making me upset, because nobody dares call my house at 6:30 AM, unless it is an emergency, and I have a friend in the hospital ICU right now!

Just got call from this number at 8:05 AM. Jocelyn calling from military purple heart foundation. I hung up on them, I suppose they are looking for money. Usually I don't answer, or there is dead air from this one. Been getting lots of calls from this, and they greet me by first name.

Called their customer care number and got an automated answering service.  Option 9 is to be removed from their list.  Did it but it's too soon to see if it really works.  Customer service # is 1-800-704-1642

People asking for money for military people.  Told them I don't have any money.  Said they would call back in 6 months.

I can't spare money for any charities but my own family and close friends.
Does this outfit support illegals with retirees donated monies?
If they really are from "Purple Heart" then I am indeed, well, mixed feelings.

Got call from this number at 8:30am -- dead air when I answered. Showed MOPHSF on Caller ID, and several posters here have mentioned Purple Heart, so I looked it up in the Better Business Bureau's charity ratings. The organization is Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, also known as Purple Heart and Purple Heart Service Foundation. Their address is 7008 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003. Phone: 703-256-6139.

According to the BBB, the organization has refused repeated requests to provide information about their operations and finances. I would never give to a group that won't cooperate with the BBB, and that uses the phone tactics they do.
