telemarketer trying to get me to put advertising in country club directory

Wanting to have us advertise in high income golf club area. wanted to talk to an owner, wanted their names so when they call back again they can ask by name...

Her name was Victoria and she works for a marketing company for businesses to place ads. Today's call was for Sugar Creek Country Club.

Received message to call "Victoria" back regarding a country club in VT.  Her phone # was a Florida exchange, so I called the country club to ask if they knew a "Victoria" who wanted to talk to me about the club?  They did not, then I read the other messages on this site and understand that it was a marketing/phishing call.

Got a call this morning from Victoria who left a message saying she wanted to talk to me about Manchester Country Club. I did not return her call. Area code is in Florida.

Same as above. "Victoria" left a voicemail my office number asking about a local country club.  I actually called them back, left a voicemail with the correct number to that local country club, and "Victoria" called again, left a message saying they're interested in my company's services with regard to that same club. Guessing it's a similar attempt as above to get me to buy in to one of their ads/pubs.

received a call from Victoria about some golf club.

got the call with message offering a job for reupholstering chair at a Pine Crest Country Club. Not in the area phone #. I did not call back.

Got a call from Gary Thompson about bookkeeping services for Pawtucket Country Club.  Truecaller on my cell said "Spam" and now your other reports verify that he is not worth calling back even though I do provide some bookkeeping services via my business.  Thank you, 800notes community!  (Truecaller app for Android is marvelous, by the way, I highly recommend it to mobile phone users--it's free and has a huge database of reported spam calls so you often know right away looking at your screen that it is a waste of time because people have flagged it as spam).

"Gina" called me twice in a row and left only her name a callback number. I didn't answer and I see my instincts were right

They are relentless with their phone calls and try all types of tactics to circumvent the owner. Needless to say they are annoying and unprofessional.  I will report them to the Federal Trade Commission @ complaints.donotcal.gov.
