Florida Energy Program offer to "survey" house for energy efficiency.  Insists that both homeowners be home.  States they are not part of FPL but, "...the energy companies do not have the man power to get to all the homes".  Very vague about how they are compensated.  Funny thing is, the only questions she asked was the average amount of our electric bills.  After agreeing to the survey (we will not be accepting the re-confirmation call) she did not verify address/name.  I called back the number to cancel the appointment and got "You've called the 'Corporate Office'" answering machine.  Your name is the "Corporate Office" ... really?!?!

I got a call from this number. No response when I picked up so I hung up. After immediately calling the number back there were twenty rings so I hung up.

I normally hit my connect button to the fax when a number that is coming in and I don't recognize who it is, so that the other party realized they got a fax line instead.  I did *67 and dial the number, it ring without anyone picking up or a recording......how do we stop these calls coming in.
