The line was silent when I answered. The caller ID only said "Florida."

I let it go to voice mail, did not leave a message, but I suspect some type of spam, or collector.

I answered and they said it was a wrong number.

Says Florida on Caller ID.  When I answer, a man says he dialed the wrong number.  Has happened twice.

Same thing. Pause, due to autodial, and then man who came on line said "I must have gotten the wrong number".

Ugh, I should have ignored the call.  I got someone saying he dialed the wrong number.  I'm getting a feeling he's looking for "good" numbers to sell to telemarketers??  Who knows, adding him to my own "do not answer" list.

VERY DANGEROUS ROBOT CALLER, HE IS FISHING FOR HUMAN VOICE and sells your phone number to real telemarketers, be very careful once this ROBOT identifies your voice, you are doomed, DOOMED to receive millions of telemarketing calls ..............BEWARE of the ROBOT CALLING MACHINE.

Just got this call at my work. Nothing but silence on other end. Caller id said unknown name  followed by ph#.

I have same area code, if it says Florida it is a scam.  954 is New Jersey cell phone area code not FL.  Report them to FCC

Someone is verifying if the number is live............either a debt collector or telemarketer

it came from 1&1 web hosting services, trying to sell you a website.  rang me 10 times in one day!

They called, I didnt recongize number so I didnt answer. I let it go to voicemail and there was no message left.

Called my office, there was a pause and as I was hanging up I heard someone say they called the wrong number... I wish I would have hung up faster!

Got a call from this number, he asked for my boss, when I asked to take a message he said nope and hung up on me. Just called back and added our number to the do not call list. We'll see if it works.

I think there may e enough complaints for a class action lawsuit.  Harassment is a crime.
