Rusty - 31 Jul 2007I got the same call very often The weird thing is that they know my name and last name, so that makes me wonder what if there is some kind of conspiracy for some select people, or there are just ramdom calls??? why if they are marketing companies or collect agency why don't they advertise their product or speak out?? what do they want from us??? why by answering the call they hang up?? maybe the scam is once we answer they detect our phone location. rici - 3 Oct 2007I never thought about it that way but you make a very valid point. I called my telephone company and since annoying phone number is not listed they dont know what to do. I am getting tired of my phone ringing for nothing and I dont answer the calls. I tried reporting the number to the national do not call list and nothing is done either. Im taking it further and if nothing results after 30 days I am changing my phone number. What a hassle.

Amy - 20 Jul 2007I called the 1800 number and they xfered me to a lady named maria, she took the number that had been calling me. the 954 number, told me it was a telemarketer and she took my number and told me she would email them and have them stop. so it does work!

They sell the phone number to companies and then of course as we all know the company does as they wish by aggravating the !@#$% out of us! I spoke w/ Chris at this company and explained that the person that called my house asked for my son! He put my number on a list that will no longer receive calls. He also told me that if they receive too many complaints about the solicitor they revoke /close their account. Once again PLEASE CALL 800-978-7532 AND COMPLAIN ABOUT 954-905-4134 /4135.

The person called me, she sounded hispanic, and asked if I was Carly, and I said yes, and they said, "Why aren't you returning my calls?" REALLY angry. I asked, "What? Who is this?" and then the line got all fuzzy and I think they hung up. It scares me, really. I feel like I have a right to report this to the police.

It was a woman with a deep voice and when my sister interupted "the voice" to ask why have you been calling she hung up. I tried to work the number a little by replacing the last digit(like business numbers have sometimes)and I got a company out of Florida called Bueno Telecom. I have tried to call the other numbers back and its in spanish asking me to push diffrent options but I can never get anyone on the line.

kimm - 15 Oct 2007i spoke to the phone company issuing this number, i talked to the ftc and the flordia state consumer although they acted stupid they seem to be working on the issue. I don't think it will go any father than the my phone line reached. It seems like you can do all theings they say to do however, they do nothing about it at all. I like the idea one guy had I'll tell the next time that i killed my son and see if they call back lol.

Pumpkin - 28 Oct 2007Omg. this is so weird.... this started happening to me too about one week ago.... i looked at the area code and i was just stunned because i'm from california and that area code did not seem familiar at all... they just kept calling me in the middle of class... so i finally got frustrated and picked up and some guy said "hello" and just hung up... he did that atleast 5-6 times in one day...... so i decided to type this number in google.... and this popped up... Its so amazing how many people they have done this too..... We need to do something about this... I have registered my number in the goverment list ..... so they owe me a good sum of money.... but I dont know what company or what it is... i called the 1800 number... but they said I dont know what im talking about.... I dont know what to do... I'm sure its frustrating for all of us.... Tonight a man was on the line, usually its a woman, these calls are happening approx. 8-10 times a day. When I call the number back, I get a recording that says all circuts are busy right now, please try your call again later. Does everyone that gets this call live in Florida, or did they live in Florida at one time? I use to, now I live in South Carolina. This was on my home # to, not my cell, not yet anyway!!

She informed me that she will turn my complaint in and that someone will be getting back to me. She obviously is fimiliar with the 954-905-4134 number.
