The Mayor - 13 Oct 2007'Ben Stonebridge' is actually Stonebridge Benefit Services, Inc that is authorized by J. C. Penny Corporation, Inc to market approved products to customers of J. C. Penny. How do I know? My spouse innocently tried one of the products (Plan Plus) for 30 days (back in August) on a trial basis and now (October) they seem to be calling every couple of days. Probably for some stupid other product. I'd call Plan Plus (Vice President, Lynn McKenna) on a toll free number 1-800-591-4295 to register a complaint. Good luck all.

privacyplease - 3 Jul 2008I too have been inudated with calls in the last 4 days from this company, where they call, ask for me by name, when I say I that person, they hang up.
I have filed numerous complaints with the Do Not Call Registry. If you call them back tehy give you a phone number to call for more information 1-800-527-5717, as well as the option to press 2 to be removed from their list (does no good, they still call). I called that number and advised them that I wanted off their list that I was on the do not call list and was reporting them. I was told theyy needed my DATE OF BIRTH (NO WAY!!!) to pull my records to remove me. I told them where to go, demanded they quit calling me and hung up. Did no good they still call!
PLEASE everyone, keep reporting these peopleto the FCC and the do not call list.

privacyplease - 3 Jul 2008UPDATE- Call the FTC at 877-382-4357 and file a complaint, you can actually speak to a person and give them your complaint, they will give you a reference # for your complaint and it goes along with the do not call list.

D Beswick - 1 Jun 2007Comes across caller id as Ben Stonebridge,Calls my home 2 or 3 times a day,As early as 8:00am in the morning.I feel violated and harassed,as I work nights and fall asleep around 7:30am to be woken up by this number,thinking it may be a emergency from family, etc. instead of this marketer,etc who ever it may be.

Michelle - 17 Nov 2007It worked, I just put my number on their do not call list. This Ben has been calling for days on end all hours of the day and night! I let the answering machine pick up and of course they hang up. Extremely annoying!! Hopefully the do not call list takes effect immediately, we shall see if good ol Ben stops calling me all hours of the night! Thanks!

Ang - 10 Feb 2008Well it's good to know we can at least do something to stop the calls. But it shouldn't be us to put our numbers in their system. We are registered on the donotcall list, aren't we? Shouldn't the government work on it and fine those people when we file a complaint? Direct TV always calls us too.

bill kasmire - 12 Jun 2007automated message called and actually got through my all anonymous call block filter. it seems as though the automated dialer presses *82 to show there number and gets through all block filters. i say we post these numbers in gay chat rooms and butt banger rooms and have them get their share of rude calls. !!! post these numbers in public bathroom stalls so freaks can call them all hours night and day. 800-527-5717 also linked and known with this company and number. call them back for free and harass them back is what i say.!! fight them back with the same attitude they do to you!!!!
