They called me this afternoon and left a voicemail. The weird thing is that they asked for my mom and said she had unclaimed funds from our previous address. I did some research and it is definetly a fraud. I work at a bank and know of the different schemes. It is a triangle scheme. They send you the check of your "unclaimed funds" and ask you to send them 10% back [as it said on their website www.uprsgroup.com ]. Be cautious because you can get in trouble if you try cashing the check!!

just received a call from this number.  When I answered there was silence.  I called back and a recording said it was "global response"

Yup the same old s**t. Somebody needs to shut these con's down.

I called back to stop this weekly hangup.  It is this catalog with too much inventory trying to stir up some business!  They will take you off their list but you must tell them to do so.

I called the number back and after being on hold for a couple of minutes I asked that my number be removed from their list and she said it would take about 24 hours.  We'll see.

I work for Global Response. It is in no way a scam. It is a customer service call center, which employs many popular clients such as LinenSource, Fairytale Brownies, Puma and National Geographic. Answering the phone when they call won't hurt you at all, I promise!

Yeah, just got a call from them. They couldn't even pronounce my name.
And I'm only 17. I don't have a credit card. I don't even have a credit history!
So, wtf.

Received call at 11:20am on Aug. 28, 2008.  They hung up when I answered.
If anyone knows how to stop these annoying calls, please post the solution.
