Rings many times a day only rings twice and stops Happens day after day

Phones 3 or 4 times a day ~ never leaves a message

This number has been calling my cell phone repeatedly for the last few days. They call and when you answer it starts beeping. If you call the number back, you get the same beeping. No one ever answers

Ok I have been getting this calls everyday sometimes more than twice a day I can't answer because I am always at work or busy. Not sure what is going on. It is very annoying sometimes

I too get calls many times a day. I called it back finally and it's DirectTV. Hope that helps.

Caller ID showed Directv.  I answered, and it sounded like a boiler room operation.  Pushy person became rude and snide when I didn't listen to his script and told him to send me an email if he wanted to sell me anything, and then I hung up.  If it really was Directv, they already have my email address since I'm a customer.  It didn't sound like anything real, and was probably just another scam to try to get credit card numbers from unsuspecting people.  I sent a complaint to Directv.

This number calls me day after day after day.  I have suspected it was DirecTv!!  I recently changed my service with them.  I am not interested in their call.  If they keep calling me I am going to call their main number and let them know:  To speak with a service rep they will need to pay a 9.95 fee BEFORE I speak to them.  I can keep their credit card on file for further inquiries.

I just started getting calls from this number on Monday, 08/25. Sometimes it just rings once and then they hang up, other times it goes to my VM, no message is left. Call 2/3 times a day, usually lunchtime-ish. Now, I called it back this  morning and it's Direct TV. I just made changes to my service on Sunday so that's probably why they're calling. Now, why they won't leave a message is beyond me. Bill not due til the first of next month so it's not late, never has been. AND, I upgraded my service. Only thing is that I dropped one of the premium channels. But it is irritating.

I called this number back and someone answered. Its Directv and they wanted me to upgrade my equipment.

I dropped HBO and thats when they started calling me! Dumb

It's good old DIRECT TV with a promotion

Leaves me a message about verifying my Google listing. Scam.

As others have said, they call several times a week and nobody is ever there.  Caller ID says, "SSI" so it's probably just set up to look like Social Security to get people to answer.  It's possible they are trying to get around the "Do Not Call List" by irritating us enough to get us to call THEM and then they have permission to call us under the law.  As it is, they are now on our Blocked Callers list.

I started getting calls from my bank reporting to me that a transaction using this number is trying to charge my account sincerity havecnevervusedxdirectvTV andcsincexthese people trying this are not with direct TV I will definatelybreport thaitcanother scsmmervisxusingvthis this number, probably with some app like whatsapp or Google voice or iplum to name a few.   Yep scammers do that now tgeyvgetcsomeone to work atcsome business and off course answer thecphonecgorcthem to giveca verification code so the number can be used for fraud and criminal activity.  Heck at a grocery store i was at a scammer got a job there and proceeded to use not only the emails of employees yonspam them but also a phone number there.....as soon as i reported to a manager watched happened and what they did a few weeks later a person was let go and the issue disappeared.
