Called Wachovia since I do bank with them, they advised me that it is NOT legit.

Just got the same text...Thought at first someone may have typed in the wrong phone number, but nope!

God, i love google :) typed in this phone number and i see im not the only one getting this same text..

same message as everyone else. notified wachovia bank direct and was advised this is a fraud and scam and that they have a team working on this and do not call this number back and give your information period !!!!!

Just got the same as text message. Somebodys up to no good.

Received the same text today

Got the same message from "3784". I called T-Mobile and they "blacklisted" the text number so I will not receive anymore text messages from that number and the operator is reporting it to their fraud/ security people.

just got the same damn message and started to look it up. I did that becasue I never seen anyone use the first 4 numbers of the bank card. mine matches and i am sure allot of others have the same numbers

Both my husband and I received the same exact txt msg, we dont even have a wachovia account. husband tried calling them back and received an automated message to put in his 16digit card #. Crazy!! Smells like a big fat SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm glad i checked this site out. The funny thing is that i actually have a wachovia card that does begin with 4828 so that was a tricky coincidence.  Now I know it's fake.
