Called but left no message

None.  Caller dropped off line after my phone had rung twice.

I didn't even hear the phone ring, and there was no message, but my caller ID shows that I got a call from this number a little before noon today.

Offer of affordable dental plans.  Told rep I was on Do-Not-Call List and not to call again; she put me on hold; another rep answered.  Again told him about Do-Not-Call List and told him not to call me again.  Hung up.

This number appeared *as* the Caller ID - weird.
I was on another call, so didn't answer - no message left.

Received a call from 971-220-1251 today at 12:31 PM. No message left. Caller ID shows it being from Gresham, OR.

Another one added to my long, long list. I'm beginning to think the Do Not Call list is just a reference point where telemarketers collect their call numbers.

I have received several calls from this automated 'political survey' from this number (971)220-1251.  Wish they would stop.

They didn't leave a message but caller ID said it was "Health Stimulus". I'm really tired of these guys calling!

call from this number -  weird  - 971 a/c   where is that at.....   some say India -  now let me ask why Imdia has an area code at all,  very close to 972  which is dallas ft worth -  - humm   so mabey they think we will pick up their call.   Not me -  these guys are jerks .   Health Stimulus ?- i dont think so .....

With caller ID "spoofing", telemarketers can make ANY number they want appear on the Caller ID. It could come from Texas, Oregan, or any other place they choose to bring the call into the U.S. through an internet-based service (VOIP).  Regardless, this has scam all over it.

Reads Health Stimulus.  I never answer these idiots.  If I do not recognize number, I just let it ring, hook up to fax, or block number.  Curiosity never gets the best of me.  These telemakers are cowards using fake area code numbers and numbers that one cannot call back and verify if they are on the level.  All idiots.  All scams.
