ID caller just shows "Services"

Caller ID shows 9712201429 there phone number!

Rachael from Credit Card services trying to lower my interest rate. When I ask them to remove my phone number they hang up. They use various phone number to scam people.  Please do not give your credit card number or social security number over the phone to anyone.

Just got one from this #. No message left on machine.

thanks everyone for posting.  i got call from this number about 5:30 p.m.  I hate not answering my own phone, because of so many scams like this out there and since the do not call registry offers no protection.  I am always afraid I am missing a possible real important phone call.  Scammers have made us afraid to answer our own phones anymore.

Maybe if the phone company had to issue a $1 per call CREDIT everytime one of these scammers/spoofers called it would end real quick!  lol

I believe these !!!holes use at least seven different numbers.I have begun to register a complaint with the "do not call registry" every time I receive one of these calls. It only takes a minute, and if some good comes then great if not oh well. If enough of these complaint get registered maybe someone will do something.
I have also enlisted my congressman to help. I sent him the records I have kept. It can't hurt to try.
The phone number is 1-888-382-1222 follow the prompts. If we flood there computer with complaints then maybe they, whoever they are, will do something to help us.
Also if you have a job with blocked phones call their numbers from there on your break and waste there time with stupid chatter.What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Just got a call from this number.  I've received MANY similar calls in the last several months.  This time, I punched "ONE" to talk to a representative.  When she said, "I see you are interested in lowering your credit card interest rate"...I replied, "No, I just needed to speak to a live person to get the NAME OF YOUR COMPANY"...next thing I heard was a "CLICK".   PLEASE DO NOT EVER GIVE ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF...DO NOT GIVE YOUR FULL NAME, YOUR BIRTH DATE, ADDRESS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD NUMBERS.

Give the A$$WIPE$ nothing. They are the lowest of the low.

Get one of the scummy skags on the line and tell her you can't continue the call cuz you can smell her thru the phone line and are about to puke!

got a call from this no. and they left no message on my machine.  caller ID said "answering services".

Started with a pre-recorded message from someone sounding like a sweet old lady.  (These scammers are getting cuter.)  It was the typical scam about my card balance being too high and they can't send me any more notices, this is my last chance.  It couldn't be more obvious this is a scam.  I pressed one to talk to a human to tell him to not call, but I wanted the name of the company first for my report to donotcall.gov.  His speaking voice was so bad (obviously American, not foreign, but could NOT speak clearly), I had to ask 3 or 4 times the name of the company.  It was the incredibly credible "Card Services."  As I was telling him it was illegal to call me, he hung up on me.  Big surprise.

Unwanted call from this number. Bogus credit card claims.

Caller has called twice today; once around 3pm and again at 6:25pm.  Caller ID just says "Services", no  message left on answering machine.  Very annoying!

Got 3 calls from them today.  I don't pick up.  They leave no msg.  Get 4 to 7 of these a week. Do Not call list is useless.

I got another call from them twice in one day. The last call was just a few minutes ago. I called the number back (971)220-1429 and got a recorded message to be removed from the calling list. The recorded voice said to press 1 if I choose to be removed from the calling list and it should take 24 hours for it to take place.
However the recorded message did state they are a "Marketing Firm"

Call and hang up after 2 rings. won't leave a message.Why do we have a do not call list???? WHAT A JOKE!!!!!

Just to let you know that I do know it's a scam...I don't even have a credit card, never had one..never will...just because of reasons such as this. Too much ID theft and scam artists. So there is no reason what so ever for them to be calling me.

When I hit #1 "to speak to a friendly representative," I asked said friendly rep to take me off their call list, as their outgoing message to me was a lie. They hung up.
