They left a voicemail telling me to press 3 to discontinue further notices or press 1 to speak with an operator and lower my interest rate.

They called a CELL phone and they won't stop calling.  One of those phony lower your interest rates calls.  Grrrr.

I received a call from these lovely people. I have just reported them to the DNC site and I am deciding if I want to sue them. Little known fact that if you are on the DNC list and these people do call you then you are free to sue them in small claims court. For more information on how to sue them check out my blog below. If more of us would sue I guarantee they would stop using illegal calling practices.

Ms. Furey, your callers do not maintain this site or any page here. Your callers are not going to dutifully study random forum complaints and cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. For sales callers the magic phrase is NOT ''take me off'', but ''Add this number to your Do Not Call list''.

If as suggested this is a credit reprice scammer, the caller has no intention of ever stopping its calls even if you demand it directly as you should with sales callers. Telemarketer Hunter's push for a TCPA lawsuit would be nice, except these criminals often hide themselves well and may not even operate domestically. File complaints with the FTC and attorneys general in any case.

My phone rang at 6:21AM today and this number was on the caller ID but no one would say anything. I reported it to the State Attorney's office this afternoon. I always heard you could sue anyone for just about anything but I just never thought about telemarketers. It sounds worth looking in to.

I wasn't impressed with either blog.

Amazingly so, this number called my home starting at 9:13 AM. By 11:13 AM, they called 22 times! (Not a typo)!!!!!  Yet, never left one message. For the firsr 8-10 calls, I was here- but didnt pick up.  Maybe on the 6th or 7th I did, but a "live" person never spoke.

I read both blogs. One sounds uneducated and the other sounds like an educated blowhard.

Called 8/23/12, 2:01pm.  Caller ID reads "LOWER INTEREST."  I wasn't home when call came in, but no message left, as usual.

Rachel from Credit Card services AGAIN on 8/24/12 at noon - I file complaints on the DO NOT CALL list EVERY TIME I GET a call from them.  Apparently the FTC just adds it to their list - I think I will try to get hold of RACHEL and call her at her house....

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who is in the primary business of facilitating unsolicited telemarketing.

There is a long list of numbers at this site. In the future go to the website first to check if the unknown number on your caller ID with the fake name – ‘lower interest’, ‘card services’ ‘financial services’ is found here. You can click onto the number and find where you can file a complaint in that state.

These callers are  SCAMS. They call all the time. DO not give them any information and you CAN BLOCK them if you have that setting.  Here are the numbers that I found to be SCAMMERS!!!! I am keeping a log and will be posting them each time they call!
