Who is this?  Is it a scam?

This is a scam!  They get around the No Call List by having the call placed by an entity that offers you a choice to contact Client Services if you'd like to resolve burdensome credit card debt of >$3000.  When pressing the number they offer, you contact an agent.

This number is a decoy generated by a caller ID device, providing total anonymity to this organization.

I suggest engaging them for as long as you can by revealing fake financial details to see how much of their time you can waste, the only approach I've devised for making these calls stop.

Yes, it is a scam.  The Caller ID actually comes across as Lower Interest.  Sad that people have to prey on  others this way.  Since I place my number on the No Call list, these are the only people that still call.  Sad.  They should be prosecuted.

I'm on the do not call list and I'm getting annoying calls.

I have been receiving this call from the middle of the summer every week , twice a week .I had my fair share so to the Attorney General Office of Penna. is where I am headed

We receive a call from this number this evening.  The caller I'd showed the call came from V10191851060265.  It had something to do with credit card but the recorded (not a person0 and they didn't identify themselves before humbly.

I just got this call from Grisham OR, didn't answer it and they did NOT leave a message. Love answering machines, but HATE these wastes of my precious time!

Yep. It's another one of those annoying lower your credit card interest rate scams.

I knew something was wrong when they hung up after asking who was calling. Then when I reversed the call the recording said thanks for calling back. Press one to have your name removed from the special offer list. Hopefully that is all that actually happened when the number was pressed.

Is there anything that can be done to stop this caller?

Called 10-19-2011 @ 15:42, answered call and pressed 1 to speak to a representative.  Asked her to remove number from their database and she promptly hung up.  Wasted a little of her time too.

Please get these to stop!

I thought I was on the 'Do Not Call' list but apparently not - I received my first call from this number today but I have also received calls from other numbers such as this offering to lower my interest rate!!

So apparently 'Do Not Call' doesn't work.  GRRR - I'm tired of these phone calls

Lower interest rates on credit card - scam

Tired of receiving this type of calls.  This must be stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received 2 calls from this number today both with the same recorded message with a woman's voice saying if you want to lower your interest rate, blah blah blah............has to be a scam because credit card companies don't do that sort of thing and can't believe anyone would fall for this bs anyway.  Thankfully I don't have to answer such nuisance calls and my answering machine takes care of it.  I'll bet they are not even located in Oregon at all just using a phoney number on the caller id.  Get this same type of call from other numbers too and it's always the same woman's voice with the same exact speech.  Something needs to be done to stop these scam artists from calling people on the do not call list, once and for all.

Received an unsolicited call

Called today...Oct24 there should be a world wide way to block unwanted calls.

I received two message in my answering machine, and the caller iD says "Lower Interest". Then when I called back, the recording said thanks for calling back. Press "1" to remove your phone number from their list. Hope it works.

Have been receiving calls lately. Am killing time waiting for laundry so reported to FTC.
