I have gotten at least 2 calls from this number everyday.  They leave no message.

This number calls me on average, 3 times a day. There have been times when they call up to 6 times!! I don't answer calls unless I know who they are, and if they don't leave a message (like these guys) I don't return the call. This number continued to call though, so i called back and got a message saying "One moment please" and then the phone with silent.

3 times a day for two weeks now, isn't this considered harassment?

these calls started about a week ago to my cell phone. I get a little voice on my voice mail, usally a little "blurp" of a word, and usually a small, female voice. today i got a lower male voice, with the same small blurp. this is probably a debt collector, because i am on a lot of those lists.

Definately a debt collector... Answered phone just now, actually got a live person who identified themselves as First National Collection Bureau. It was legitimate as they were (not surprisingly) asking for my ex by name and accurately had an old street address of his.

(Gee, sorry..., wrong number, grin. No, I've had this number for 16 years. No, I don't live on that street. Yes, please remove this number from your files, thanks!) Much easier to say that, otherwise when they learn I know who he is, they'll pester for current contact info and/or keep calling ME, even tho he moved out over a year ago, and I loath the calls I still get about every other month from various companies, arrrgh.

This 971-220-9309 number calls me twice a day about every two days. I just called it and got a busy signal.  i do not know who they are or what they want.  they stay on the line just long enough that my recorder picks up a "message" and yet there is none.

This is the number to a representative of First National Collection Bureau. The woman is a collection agent. Her name and address is listed with sbc telephone land line and she lives in Gresham Oregon. This company, First National Collection has been successfully sued in many jurisdictions for illegal practices. DO NOT send money to FNCB, instead forward a debt validation letter requesting the loan originator and all itemized entries made into this original debt. This bottomfeeding company purchases third party debt that has been written off by the original debt holder and these leeches usually try to coerce people into payment. I advise anyone to dispute their debt with this company and check your credit report for any fraudulent entries. This bottom feeding miscreant will most likely go back into her hole after she realizes that you mean business. If you suspect that this debt is invalid then file a cease and desist letter to this company. What ever you do, you must respond to any attempt to collect a debt. It is against the law to collect a debt by cellphone and if you do your research, you will find that a jury awarded 147,000 dollars against this company for fraudulent communication harassment.

This number has just started showing up on my cell twice a day.  Finally called and spoke with a gal who confirmed they'd called me today.  I was assigned my cell number 8 yrs ago and I keep getting debt collectors trying to find the gal who previously had my number.  I was told every time the file goes to a new collection agency it reverts back to the original number on the file.  This has been going on sporadically for 8 yrs now.  You'd think they would catch a clue and give up on a number that continues to be a dead end.  I have to close my phone to my call list only during these episodes.  Good Grief!

This phone number, 971-220-9309, is just one of many used by First National Collection Bureau.  The person who answered when I called back was named Matt.  First National Collection Bureau is nothing more than a bottom feeder debt collection company that buys up old debts for pennies on the dollar and then they start harassing calls.

Lucky one 2b on their list of old lists.....just blocking the number in 2 - different programs on my Droid. Why should I pay for there time on my cell....? Not!

It is a debt collector called CMRE and it deals with heath care debt,dental & so forth

This is a extremely rude marketing company trying to sell financial service packages. After speaking with a CSR twice and he was RUDE, I asked him to take my name off his list and he told me that I was crazy. I asked to speak to his manager and he hung up on me.

Caller ID said the number belonged to John Dester. A recording told me that the FBI estimates a house is broken into every blah blah minutes and for no cost, I could have a sign put in my yard advertising a security system. In return for the advertising, they'd install a brand new security system in my home for no cost. I hit "2" to be put on the don't call again list. We'll see how well that works.

This number calls several lines in our company at least 2 times per day.  They say the company is Total Health Care and message is from someone named William Scott.  It's very annoying and harrasing to get these phone calls repeatedly.  I answer the phone for several high level people and everytime their line rings they want to know who it is.

I alos get this call fomr 971-220-1009. They give you the option to press 9 to be removed crom the call list, which I have done at least 20 times. Today I accepted and talked to a perons there, who told me their system is down, so that is why they keep calling. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR 4 WEEKS!! When I trtied to give her my phone number to be removed from the list, she ung up on me.

Called at 7:45 in the morning and got a recording from Total Healthcare?

We have our own insurance and if they're debt collectors for medical bills, we owe nothing.
